Why would you say there is zero chance?

Mizzou has everything to be a top 15 job, except a coach.

Facilities are as good as any program
There's easy access to high level talent
Decent history
Good fan base, if Mizzou is good 15K at most conference games.

If Mizzou is willing to pay a coach, good coaches should be interested. At Mizzou they would have to resources to build an elite program.

He wasn't interested last time around and things are worse now. He has job security and if I'm not mistaken, makes $3 million a year. He could go anywhere. Not happening.

I heard that he was interested a couple years ago.
If he wants a chance to win a NCAA tournament, he will probably have to leave WSU.

If he was seriously interested last time, he would be the coach here now.

Except Mizzou wasn't willing to pay him the asking price.
That's been the biggest limiting factor for Mizzou with the last 2 hires.
If Mizzou is willing to pay a coach, then some top coaches would probably take the job.

What was his asking price?

Things are not worse now from the perspective of an incoming coach.

The situation is quantifiably worse from a fans perspective. Anyone with the brains to read the w-l column and make a pro-con list lacking polyphonics will tell you things are far worse now than in 14.

But administratively, internally ect this job is in better shape now than it was a few years ago. This isn't fanboy talk, I believe Gabe or another person on his level tweeted as much -- and so it's true.

I remember Marshall having some kind of unusual kick-backs at his job. Can't remember what those were. Anybody?

That Wichita State story seemed to be in-peak during our last pursuit. Maybe it's because I don't pay attention to college basketball as much, but it seems like that story has fizzled out. Maybe he's ready to move on now. It'll take 4 million to make an honest try of it. Is that something we'll do?

But if you're going to take polyphony into account, we should also take the HPF, LPF and the ADSR into account. And what's our base waveform? S/H, saw, square?

Mizzou is a much better hoops job than most fans give it credit for.

You have everything you need here to put together a final four team.

Facilities, in state talent, strong history and the fanbase will support a winner.

It's a good job, I just don't think We could get Marshall now. He makes 3.3 now. I think it would take more than 4. Like I said, he could have his pick of jobs.

The only hold up with Marshall was he didn't like Mike Alden. That's what kept him at WSU

Why is Scott Drew of Baylor on nobody's list?

Is a recruiter and a X's and O's coach.

We can pay him more and Baylor Athletic Department is a train wreck.

He's one FedEx package away from a show cause clause.

I'm always wary of that as well, but he had the ball rolling at OU before it all fell apart.

What got the ball rolling was Griffin. That was good fortune more than good recruiting. He followed that up with a string of misses and a few high-profile recruits most blue bloods wouldn't touch, and it collapsed as a result.
