I still want Odom fired. And you do realize that Mizzou just got a good quarterback so those people might be right still. We'll never know.
EDIT: Before JQ blows a fuse, I was being extremely tongue in cheek about Odom. Was said for Lefty's benefit.

Seriously though...good for BO.
My phone blew up with texts from the kid after the announcement. Regardless of how his play turns out, it has lit a fire in at least that small group of students. There's some excitement going into next year.

I’m still on the fire Odom train. What, I’m supposed to be kissing Odom’s boots for bringing in a grad transfer QB because he can’t find a long term replacement for Lock? He’s just delaying the problem.

Giving away the South Carolina and Kentucky game with bone headed play calling this year.

With that being said, Odom has a chance to prove himself with this opportunity with Bryant. Florida this year was the first step, but I need to see more before he wins me back. I’ll also be interested to see what his plan is after Bryant leaves next season.
I know I’m not the only Tiger who feels this way towards Odom. All I have to do is look at all the empty seats in the stands.

I didn't say it means you forget everything else, but to recognize it for what it is. Even if no one player makes that huge of a difference, the optics alone are a positive and BO deserves the kudos for the positives just as he has to own the negatives.
