Lucky break for Arky, their defense was cratering. But Tittboss probably won’t find a competent replacement anyway

Does not seem a good fit for UNLV either. Cheap quick hire?

UNLV just made it official. Can we get them on the OOC schedule?

Good luck to BO. He was not a good P5 coach and not a good recruiter, but he is a .500 coach at 25-25.

UNLV was 5-7 in a tough Mountain West Conference 7 of the 12 teams are going to bowls.

quote:

Odom is set to make $1.75 million per year in his first two seasons with UNLV. That number is slightly lower than the $1.85 million he was making annually with Arkansas from a contract he signed back in March that was set to run through 2024. The salary will go up to $2 million per year for the 2025 and 2026 seasons and then it will bump up to $2.25 million in 2027. Odom also has a list of bonuses worked into his contract: Reaching MWC title game: $50k Winning MWC title: $50k Reaching a bowl game: $50k Top 25 ranking: $25k

And Cement head hires the Easy Rider as his OC. This is going to be entertaining as hell.

At least BO is smart enough to know he doesn't know shite about offense....it took Will Muschamp 2 firings to maybe learn that.

Barry's got the connections to get good coaches. Retaining them is another story.

BO hires Bobby Pertrino after 3 years at Mo State

quote:

Bobby Petrino hired as UNLV offensive coordinator after three-year stint in FCS ranks

quote:

Bobby Petrino will return to the Football Bowl Subdivision as UNLV's offensive coordinator, the school announced Thursday. Petrino, who had prior successful runs at Louisville and Arkansas, will join first-year coach and former Arkansas defensive coordinator Barry Odom with the Rebels.
