So, did Penn State keep the wrong quarterback? It feels like a reasonable question at this point.

(Penn State let the wrong QB transfer.)

The best Penn State QB plays for Missouri

Penn State would be the best team in the country if they kept Beau Pribula instead of Drew Allar

— Paulina The Intern (@Paulina_Wh0) September 28, 2025
Is there something in the water that makes quarterbacks horrendous at Penn State? Even Kevin Jennings walked into there and became bad. Beau Pribula left and immediately became amazing. I simply don't understand

what would this offense look like with Beau Pribula man

— CFBTalkDaily (@CFBTalkDaily) September 28, 2025
This is the question of the year. Penn State would probably be better with Pribula LINK

— Blake Krass (@BlakeyLocks) September 28, 2025
How much would Penn State fans pay for Beau Pribula right now?

Would Penn State be better off with Beau Pribula instead of Drew Allar?

This is like the 200th chance Drew Allar has had to prove to me he’s an elite QB.

He’s currently 0-199

— Chris Castellani (@Castellani2014) September 28, 2025
I’ve been so wrong on Drew Allar and James Franklin and Penn State.

Just a losing bunch of losers who lose when it matters.

— Brandon Walker (@BFW) September 28, 2025
Man Penn State just needs a QB.

Maybe they can get a guy like Beau Pribula in the portal?

— Cole Jackson (@ColeJacksonFB) September 28, 2025
At what point do we need to see real evidence of Drew Allar being a 1st rd QB talent? If there's a breakdown of it somewhere, please tag me. I want to be aligned with the experts but it feels like I'm being lied to.

He's got 5 starts and only 2 starts against decent teams. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

I'm glad to see Beau get some recognition. That is why he came to Missouri. We will see if Beau and the entire team is ready for the big stage when Alabama gets here.

I think we have a good team. Many other teams look good right now to.

Saturday Down South has Pribula as the 10th best QB in the country and 5th best in the SEC.
quote:

Allar isn’t on this list. I suppose that’s a spoiler, though it shouldn’t really come as a surprise. It certainly looks like Penn State made a mistake letting Beau Pribula walk this past offseason. After 3 years on the bench for the Nittany Lions, Pribula bet on himself and joined a Mizzou program that would let him compete for a starting job. He got a touch of fortune (for lack of a better word) in the quarterback competition when Sam Horn suffered an injury that took him out of the fight, but Pribula made it clear, regardless, that he was the guy with his debut in Week 1.

quote:

Pribula ranks 10th nationally in total EPA. He’s 11th nationally in passing success rate, per Game on Paper. The time he has spent seasoning on the bench seems to have served him well; he looked calm and composed from the opening kickoff. Pribula has an adjusted completion percentage of 80.4% — a top-10 mark among QBs with at least 100 drop-backs this season. In a Week 2 rivalry victory over Kansas, Pribula completed 30 of his 39 passes for 334 yards and 3 touchdowns. Mizzou has a guy capable of leading a College Football Playoff charge.
