Is there something in the water that makes quarterbacks horrendous at Penn State? Even Kevin Jennings walked into there and became bad. Beau Pribula left and immediately became amazing. I simply don't understand

I'm glad to see Beau get some recognition. That is why he came to Missouri. We will see if Beau and the entire team is ready for the big stage when Alabama gets here.

Saturday Down South has Pribula as the 10th best QB in the country and 5th best in the SEC.

Allar isn’t on this list. I suppose that’s a spoiler, though it shouldn’t really come as a surprise. It certainly looks like Penn State made a mistake letting Beau Pribula walk this past offseason. After 3 years on the bench for the Nittany Lions, Pribula bet on himself and joined a Mizzou program that would let him compete for a starting job. He got a touch of fortune (for lack of a better word) in the quarterback competition when Sam Horn suffered an injury that took him out of the fight, but Pribula made it clear, regardless, that he was the guy with his debut in Week 1.

The time he has spent seasoning on the bench seems to have served him well; he looked calm and composed from the opening kickoff.
