Hell he hasn't beaten Kentucky yet, embarrassing loses to Scar, and shite the bed in 2 bowl games. I'm saying he is mediocre and will remain there.

If by sunshine pumping you mean not going into “omg! the coach sucks!!!” every time we lose a game then I’ll gladly wear it.

We didn’t play well, particularly on defense, and just like every time we lose (or win) there is blame for both the coaches and players.

I feel we took a legitimate step forward in BO’s tenure, but I’m also disappointed because I feel like we left some wins on the table. We won a couple close games, but we also had 3 losses by a combined 8 points

If we don’t beat Kentucky next year, we may never beat Kentucky.

Stoops went the same path but took him longer than Barry Odom did to get to 2 bowl games. in his 3 full year as head coach. Mark Stoops as head coach in 5 or 6 years and went to 3 bowl games and lost first two and won bowl game this year. That is not far off and Barry Odom is actually doing better than Mark Stoops in first 3 years and Barry is only going to get better and shall win 9 or more games next year. Talents is not far off from Missouri. Have you not seen any progress from the last time Missouri played Kentucky and this year? That is showing progress. I am not sure what you are saying that Kentucky is miles better because they won a game the referee gave them another chance at the end. Barry is learning so is Dooley and he is in his fist ever as offensive coordinator. Give Barry and Dooley a break!

Stoops took over a pathetic football program and built it up. You can't say the same here, just stop.

That’s your opinion and that’s fine.

I think he’s a good coach, that is still lacking experience that a lot of other coaches have. He can improve. If he will remains to be seen.
He’s improved every year so I have confidence he’ll keep getting better.

Mizzou is a tough job. It’s a tough place to recruit to and we are in one hell of a league.

Next year will tell us a lot. We are losing a lot of key pieces.

Embarrassing wins (Mo State) and embarrassing losses. Numerous bonehead game decisions, lack of preparations for bowl games and not having the players mentally prepared, throwing players under the bus to save face...the lists goes on and on. I'm not calling for his head yet, I'm just saying he is a mediocre coach and will remain so until proven otherwise. At this point, there is a pattern developing that I don't support.

Wow! I guess Barry will never grow up and learned from his mistakes?

We will beat Kentucky this year. Call me crazy but book it, we beat Georgia. That teams got some quit in them, as long as we can contain the run, and get a little better at pass rushing we will win the east.

Is it reasonable to let Odom go if we don’t win at least 9 games next year? I think so

Only if Mizzou is planning on doubling its football budget in a year.

You know his ceiling? Hasn’t he improved his record each year? Recruiting improved this year too. Am I completely satisfied? No, but if he learns from his mistakes and most importantly, keeps improving his record, I will be happy.

LOL!

You’re just going to have to deal with this. I know you hate Odom and still would even if he won the SEC, but a coach that consistently has a winning record ain’t getting fired here. Nor should he.

Some people have an insanely unrealistic view of our program.

WHAT??? Please tell me you're not being serious. Personally, I think with Kelly we make a serious run at the East, but c'mon, fired if under 9 wins. Just for reference, Nebraska tried that shite, and still haven't recovered.

I say this based on the schedule we have next year and the talented transfers we have coming in

Yeah I think I know his ceiling. He is not a 10 win coach, 6 to 9 is where he fits. Let's see if he can prove that wrong.
