I think this. I think fans can support Franklin and are right for doing so. I think fans can support Mizzou needing to move away from Franklin and are right for doing so. I just don't understand having to attack someone because they don't have the same position I do.

I'll take it as fact. My point then is simply he is very susceptible to injury and maybe someone not so susceptible to injury should be considered. Sucks for Franklin, I understand that, but it just is what it is.

I agree. I don't know if I like to call it a free pass because that makes it sound like it's acceptable that we sucked arse. But he has earned the opportunity to right the ship, and not that he has to be told, but he has to be told that the ship needs righting.

He is fine this year. But if we frick up next year, sorry. We will have been trending down for 3 fricking years. And honestly after the new hires are made, we will have the worst coach in the SEC. Think about it. I love the man, he has done wonderful things here. But we cant afford this. And it hurts, being that it has been made clear but we wanted in the SEC. We cant just keep a guy because he is friends with the AD.

I could be wrong but if enough of the big time donors and alumni puts the pressure on Alden to demand changes, changes will be made.

I certainly hope so. That honestly is our only way. And I hope they dont wait until 2014 if they need to be done next year.

Not meaning to berate this topic, but I dont feel like I can just move on to basketball knowing that these problems will just hang around until next year. I think coaching changes would make me happy, but this just hurts too much to ignore.

I would stay back with you, but wtf can I do about the problems? Hope somebody with the power/influence will be in CGP face about the issues, that is the best that could happen.

Free pass? Last year we sucked. Pinkel had all kinds of problems this off season with a DWI.
How the hell do you preach hard work ethics and teaching kids valuable lessons when you still can't act responsibly yourself.
I'm so sick of the free pass talk, he's burnt his pass. He gets paid millions to keep his nose clean and produce and he hasn't done it.
If I ever get in any trouble at work I am going to produce Pinkel's medicore resume, produce his problems, and then produce all these posts saying free pass. Thereafter I am going to look my boss square in the eye an say eh... not so bad right? After that I will be granted a multi million dollar contract and a 20 year old girlfriend.

Haha thanks... think that was one of my best SECR work.
I'm starting to get nervous about basketball. I came in high as frick on it. I think all of the trolls on Haith though have started to worry me. Our slow start to games so far too has kept me from getting too high on them.
