Apparently Odom went scorched Earth after the UT loss and was the main reason he got fired.

Did you watch Kelly Bryant play? The first game? then the Vandy game? then the dominos fell. I guess you did not see what Bryant did! He was bad! Do not tell me a 4* quarterback was doing fine in all those games Mizzou losses Kelly played in? If you watch the game again you can clearly see it.

What I'm telling you block head is that Barry got himself fired with his attitude and actions after the UT game.

Did you not read what others posted about Kelly Bryant having sex with another teammate's girlfriend? That also created that free fall! You just wanted to point the problem all on the head coach and no one else!

I've read this a few times. Still don't know what you're trying to say.

With Lefty it's the effort that counts

Players gave up and was not focus and it divided the team.

BO was fired bc it couldn't fix any of the problems and there were many. It APPEARS ON THE SURFACE that BO was more interested in being the players friend vs. being the HC.....kinda like parents that want to be their kids friends & not their parent.

Bottom line is that the responsibility and accountibility HAS to fall to the head coach. Period. It is is/was his job to handle whatever issues that present themselves both on and/or off the field and make sure that his team(including coaching staff) stayed focused and together. As witnessed by the near complete collapse the second half of this season, he did not accomplish that. What happened the last 6 weeks of this season was inexcusable. It was time to take the keys to the family car back...

That’s what Illinois Nebraska Kansas Arkansas all said and now 6-6 season would be landmarks for those programs.

It's definitely a chance you take when you decide to fire a coach. My opinion (and that's all it is) is that you cannot let the fact that the next coach might be bad or worse absolve that fact that the current coach is not getting the job done to expectations. They are two completely separate entities.

The difference is those 4 programs are terrible football programs with a culture of defeat. Mizzou isn't in that category. Mizzou is underperforming even at 6-6. I would compare us more to Florida, who made the change before losing culture set in.

I think we all subliminally knew when Odom's days were numbered with Sterk and we have video of it.

Yeah. I kinda thought that was a watershed moment for Sterk. We were a better team and we looked like we were out coached.

I live here on Omaha. Trust me, all they talk about is the NU losing culture, figuring out ways to lose, no fire or fight. Nebraska fan will take a loss, they dont like when they see a losing culture.

I’m very familiar with Nebraska (I went there). There is a losing culture but the fans have high expectations and they spend WAY more on football than Missouri

If you know the program has a losing culture then why did you defend the program?
