If you think one of our QBs currently on the sideline starts multiple game for us in 2019, then Odom won’t be the coach in 2020. That’s just my opinion. But I feel pretty comfortable in that assessment.

I agree with that, but every game won’t be perfect. They also made plays too. Vandy wanted a win badly today and we played well enough to avoid the loss.

That’s one thing I hate is going for 2 point conversions with so much time in the 3rd quarter in a high scoring game when both teams will have numerous possessions left.

It was a dumb move.

Agreed. But any time we face a QB who can complete a 10 yard pass with some consistency, we’re going to be in danger of losing.

I don't understand how this isn't more obvious to people. Even Odom knows he has nothing at QB, which is why he's courting Bryant and looking at grad transfers.

You court Bryant because he’s a known commodity. Most back ups are not. I don’t understand how that isn’t obvious to people...

Pretty sure the coaches who see these guys every day know what they have and what they need.

This team will have a grad transfer QB next season.

I agree. I haven’t seen anything out of our backup QB’s to believe they are ready to start next year and I don’t believe the talent is there either.

Maybe they are better than we think, but they really haven’t had enough on the field reps this year.

Next year we will have a nice running game to go along with our really talented WR’s and TE’s. We also will have 3 starters from OL back.

It would have been nice to give our QB’s on the bench more reps.

Baker Mayfield was a walk on

You keep saying this. He’s pursued 1 grad transfer. Not multiple. The one he’s pursued happened to play in the playoffs last year.

If we can remove ourselves from everything and everybody sucks for just a moment can we allow for at least the possibility that they think Bryant is just a special player?

Here’s another #hottake.
If we don’t get Bryant, we will be in the grad transfer sweepstakes. And we will be desperate.

We shall see. That’s a better take than just flat out making shite up.

Here’s a hot take. Wilson is going to be a very good QB, it may be somewhere else but the dude can play.

Everyone knows they are after a grad transfer QB because Dooley and the staff do t think much of the way Huepel recruited the position.

That’s why we tried him at WR this spring for sure.

You and Quintana will want to get on the same page on this.

JQ is the only one that thinks a backup QB will be the answer. So I guess I should say almost everyone knows the coaches don’t like the backup options on the roster.

It’s hard to stay on the same page when your analysis has the capability of going beyond “FIRE SOMEBODY!!!”

Pretty easy to line up when their is only one lane, no?
