Ryan Walters is garbage.
Derek Dooley is garbage.

Can't blame Dooley today, Offense is scoring. Don't know what Odom sees in Walters. Between his overall defense and his poor secondary. Odom has the team on the right track, but he needs to upgrade from Walters.

We had one TD in the first half.

Lock didn't throw the ball terribly well at open WRs.

The worst part about this is I'm not surprised at all. We've seen this crap, especially at home time and time again under Odom. Mizzou football has reached the point of Kim Anderson basketball. I stopped watching a few weeks ago. I thought I might take a look into it again after the Florida victory, but regardless if we win today or not, this Vandy game proves the Florida victory changed nothing about this team. Same. Old. shite. You'll never convince me as a fan to invest time and money into this football program if we consider it acceptable to bring back a coach that is currently 7-14 in conference play in year 3 and still has yet to bring in a recruiting class for us to be excited about. That's just a joke. And people wonder why the attendance has tanked on epic levels the last couple year under Odom. It's the same script as the basketball program under Anderson. You gotta bring in a coach with a name and the ability to bring in talented players and win games or nobody but a handful of students and alums will show up. We all know what Mizzou arena looked like under Anderson.

Is Johnson hurt or has someone finally gotten tired of him dropping the ball?

"If we prepare right, it's always going to come own to the 4th quarter."

Did you just say that, Barry?

I know I'm sick of watching him drop the ball and muff punts.

Its weird, but I feel more confidence after this win versus last week.

I dont expect a team to play perfect every week. I expect emotion to impact games throughout a season. I also expect a good coach and his staff to manage all of that.

I think Odom and staff did that pretty well today. I have my gripes, but overall I am good with how today played out.

We did. Did you think that performance was something to build on?

I think we were missing both TEs including maybe your best pass catcher.

Lock and Hall barely missed on a couple TDs.

The defensive scheme is terrible though, I really can't defend Walters who sits 10-15 yards off the WRs until 3rd and Long, and then plays press man cover 0.

It wasn't flawless but they got a 4th down goal line stop and went on a 99 yd drive to win the game. Two true FR made drive extending plays to get there.

I'll take it.

Absolutely. It’s a W. I have no idea how fans get on this kick of conference games being easy. They aren’t.

They lost to Notre Dame by 5, Florida by 10, Kentucky by 7.

That team has played a lot of close games and we made the plays we had to in order to win the game.

The second half was much better football.

Some good stops by the D. Some good clutch plays by the offense.

Every win is something to build on. Mizzou didn’t play great, came out pretty flat. Had a bad snap that cost Mizzou a chance at taking an 8 point lead with 1:30 to go. Against Kentucky and SC the defense didn’t make the plays to get the win.

I’m not sure we made the plays to win today either. We got bailed out.

I’ll take a W.

The edge play right now is barely adequate and MU can't blitz as a luxury. Williams is very soft and his play today was lazy at best. Vandy's longest runs we're right at him.

Byars at least puts consistent effort.

Lee had a tough day as well. They put him in conflict several times. Other times he simply whiffed.
