I think he could get another shot someday. His issue is that he doesn't generate a lot of excitement...or offense.

It was just the wrong time for him. I could see him learning and growing from his mistakes at Mizzou. Or not.

He's a defensive coordinator. If he ever get's to be a head coach again he better keep Dooley away from his team.

Some people just aren't HC material. Now that he had and lost a HC job maybe he'll be ready the next time; and maybe he won't. I wish him luck in his future.

BO was thrown in a few years earlier than what the plan called for. Whatever his deal with Bryant was last year screwed the team up. Offense just quit after the Ole Miss game. Bryant and AO or whatever it was was not handled correctly by BO and he lost the offense and probably the team.

HCGP did not let Maty Mauk run the team. He gave MM two chances and he kicked his arse off twice. BO had a top 10 team and he was going to sell his soul to the devil to keep that. Unfortunately the devil did not keep his end of the bargain. Remember there is a reason a true freshman took KB's place at Clemson. Probably talent level.

He doesn't have head coach qualities that lead successful programs. His last year was a colossal trainwreck considering the talent of that team.

Head coaching is not Xs and Ox. It is people management. This he has shown no talent for.

Why do we care? Down deep, we have some affection for Arkansas. A fellow escapee from the domination of Texas. We do not want to see you make a such a mistake if it can be avoided. Let BO call the defense. Let him do nothing else.

If you did not have that Ar as the first two letters of your state, we would be encouraging the thought of BO as HC.

It is. In the “Is Barry Odom the best DC” thread there are two hog fans that mention HCIW or Co HC.

TBD; remember Muschamp's tenure at FL? There was more talent there than here and he's turned out to be HC material. BO may never be a good HC but it's too early to tell.

I don't know if I saw those posts, but that is 2 posters. Many of us aren't thinking that far ahead. It could be all luck, but we have been extremely competitive against who we have played so far and defense is definitely the winner. Franks is doing much better than most thought and or give him credit for too.

I could defintiely see this.

He didn't grow from any of the mistakes he made here. It's actually what got him fired.

You have to admit the fawning over Odom has been a bit much hasn't it?

Thus far Arkansas is allowing 25.5 PPG and beaten the two Mississippi schools.

It hasn't been that long since the Hogs won has it? They need to have a little dignity.

Muschamp: A LOT of SCAR folks are still undecided on this.

Sure. Can you admit having a walk on get 3 INTs and fill in for the leading tackler was because of Odom and not Chavis?

We've have play Georgia, @MSU, @Auburn, and Mississippi. Being 4-0 against the spread with our defense stopping multiple red zone & goal line attempts. Its quite amazing what has happened this year compared to the last two.

Why does it seem Mizzou is envious of our turnaround? Would your fanbase be happy performing great after 4 games after not winning a conference game in two seasons?
