Genuinely curious. Know he wasn't popular by alot of folks, but wondering if past year have people appreciating him a bit more?

No
I'm not sure if he would have predicted and handled the football strike any different.
He's the guy that hired both TJ and KA.
Only difference that o would see in his favor would be the south endzone project.

HELL NO, he wrecked Mizzou's bball program. Has made piss poor hires in other sports. He couldn't leave soon enough.

Just curious who was the bad hire other than hoops.
Probably should have fired TJ a few yes as ago, or given the baseball program more support.
Hired EE in softball, Kreklows in volleyball.
Did much good in facilities upgrades and getting Mizzou in the SEC.
His only real downfall was men's basketball.

TJ has hung around too long and I know why MR kept him. The list of bball coaches for 1. He botched the move to the big 10. Women's Bball hasn't been stellar and Mo has had some of the best Women's BBall players come out of the state. He didn't hire Brian Smith but gets credit for it. gymnastics has been spotty at best

There is plenty on the baseball list. If no one else there is currently a mizzou alum on Arkansas' staff who would jump at the chance.

And it was EPIC.

HELL NO, Alden is yesterday's very bad news.

GP, Smith and Pingeton are his only contributions.

Smith was hired before Alden came to Mizzou.

GP, Pingeton, EE, & the Kreklows were his best hires.
Though Quinn was considered a great hire at the time.

Based on his lengthy track record under crisis, I'm quite confident he would have mishandled it.

The good: Getting into the SEC and facility upgrades.
The bad. I am not sure why he kept the Mizzou men's baseball coach?
The ugly. Men's basketball is a dumpster fire.

Its sad, because with the big infusion of money, Mizzou has the ability to have multiple elite programs if it chose to. Men's Basketball, Men's baseball, women's softball for example.

That's like a woman who had a neglectful turd of an ex-boyfriend who is now dating a verbally abusive boyfriend who is broke and thinking, "Man, my ex wasn't so bad, I kind of miss him."
