Yaro said he is the smartest player in that room in camp. That isnt what is making the tape. Both TDs last night happened because his eyes weren't in the right place. I see very questionable athleticism to go along with poor eye discipline. He isnt good enough to have bad angles. Yaro better get this cleaned up.

So we replaced 1 set of bad eyes with athleticism for another set of bad eyes without athleticism?

His eyes arent Burks level bad. Greco was at least in the same zip code of the WR last night. But on both plays he had deep responsibility and he couldn't make the tackle. He looked terrible and Yaro kept trotting him out. Hancock and Blair never saw the field. SEC play is going to be rough if Yaro doesnt get FS figured out.

They talk about the safeties being interchangeable, but has anyone other than Greco been playing center field? Would be nice if Faustin could do it because Dotson needs to be on the field as much as possible. Dude makes plays.

I agree. Faustin can run circles around Greco and Dotson is a stud. Blair, Bass, and Hancock all look like better athletes too. I dont think this is something Yaro can afford to inflexible about.

Yaro is probably coaching for his job. I would think he’s aware.

This guy has had the weakest room on the defense for going on 3 years and Batoon (A career safties coach) needs to shorten the leash IMO. Not having a good FS is inexcusable at this point.
