I have to give the guy a A-.

Dude has literally done everything right. Only reason it isn't an A+ would solely be just so there is room for improvement to get them 5*'s lol.

I was skeptical at first when seeing him cause I was judging by the cover. I'm no skeptic anymore and I haven't even seen him coach a game yet. I'm all in baws.

The high school coaches sure seem to like him:

"I’ve probably been the most critical coach in Missouri about Mizzou on their history of race issues. Not only does @CoachDrinkwitz have more black coaches on his staff than any other FBS team, he continues to show he “get it”. He’s defining what #NewZou mean and I like it." - Trey Porter - Director of Missouri Minority Coaches Association

I’d give him a B+

The personality plays and he seems pretty genuine (this is always said though). I do think he may end up being our best recruiter by the time it’s all said and done.

As with anyone else though, he’s got to win

Yes, He did go 12-1 at Appalachian State. If that is not impressive then what is impressive to you to make him to be the next great head coach of Missouri? I believe he will get it done. He'll need to recruit at a high level and maintain that regularly.

At this point? I'll give him a "C."

Until the wins start, "Big hat, no cattle."

He beat both NC and SC, with 2 and 3# players.

So call me cautiously optimistic

"Incomplete" : He's shown he can win the offseason. Now we've got to see how he handles in season coaching in the SEC. I do think he has the potential to be the best in game tactical coach we've seen since Dan Devine.

Hold on! He has shown and done a lot more than Odom have shown and done at Mizzou as the HC. His style of coaching and recruiting have made him a much better than Odom. I would also say better than Pinkel due to a lack of continual top 20 recruiting class. If Drinkwitz failed to keep up with the recruiting class year in and year out then I will see the same trend among Mizzou HC. That is not what I am seeing with Drinkwitz. He is a new breed of a HC that Mizzou did not have since Dan Devine.

So far he's doing good, like a B. Talk is cheap.

He’s got an A so far. Great energy and great recruiting. I suspect we have the structural ability to compete in recruiting with the expertise of some of our assistants. Hopefully that’s coded enough.

Yep. He's hired assistants that meet the requirements to recruit urban areas.

But so did Odom. More than any other SEC team. The big recruiting difference so far is the St. Louis area recruiting. But in reality, we have 1, 4 star recruit and 10, 3 star. Very, very similar to Odoms recruiting.

A solid B, which is pretty damn good with the obstacles in front of him.

I think we can all agree he is more personable than Odom and with times changing I prefer this type of coach with today's generation of players.

Let's not forget Woody Widenhofer for the people old enough to remember him when he came in here with all the emotion and for all the fans and potential recruits to get on his Woody wagon. Let's not let emotion guide our judgement. Woody was a great coach who didn't get much support by the Mizzou brass and alumni and boosters.

Why are you laughing? Odom had more black coaches on his staff than any other SECteam.
