Even better. They land two, although one hasn't signed yet, and you are still mystified? Do you prefer ranch or ketchup with your crayons?

2014 Missouri
Wherein you will note that the 25th ranked player in the state signed with TCU.
2015 Missouri
Wherein you will note that the 23rd ranked player signed with Indiana.
2016 Missouri
Wherein you will note that the 24th ranked player signed with NC State.
I’ll keep owning your arse with data. You keep posting your nonsense.

I’m not mystified. Our recruiting isn’t good. It isn’t up to par. And despite all your excuses and protestations, it’s apparent to everyone.

I am not going to lie, I did not think the state was producing D1 talent at the clip I saw in those numbers.
Some impressive schools came knocking for those outside the top 10 per year as well.

In my first post I stated that MU was going to have to win to elevate it's recruiting. The OP countered with two programs: one that is a blue blood and one that is 3 years removed from the playoffs. He then countered with another school that sits in the heart of 300 D1 players.
What about Missouri is comparable to any of those situations? Nothing. That was the point you dimwitted prick.
Out of those 20 players Missouri produces every year and missed on, how many are major contributors at their programs. Just going back to the move in 2012, I count 5.

I get it, you think there are 20 recruits a year in Missouri that are worth recruiting and that’s wrong.
Most years there are 5-8 worth offering

The funniest thing about this latest display of mental gymnastics by bass is that he will bash BO all day long for a class full of 3* but then he'll turn around and praise the state of Missouri's talent level based on....wait for it...the amount of 3* it produces.

What flips? He's been dead on point the whole way. Both GP and Bo were/are consistently out recruited in their own state. This needs to change. Is it unrealistic to ask for classes in the top 25? Not top 5, or 10, but top 25.
We have done what we have always done, and get what we always got. (GP Mantra) You say, it cannot change, I say, maybe, but we won't know until someone at least tries to change it, and start with in state.

If you have numbers different than that make your case. If you have any data make your case.
It's pretty easy to look up the number of top 100 ( or top 300, or top 500) recruits by state for the last five years. Missouri tends to fall in the middle along with states like Tn, SC, Arky, Pa, and Mi. When you divide by the number of in state fbs schools Mizzou tends to fall in the top ten to top five.
We have a much much better in state recruiting situation than Oklahoma and the Nubs, two schools that historically kick our arse. I guess they is just smarter than us midwest hicks (well obviously if we were to use you as an example).

will our recruiting philosophy continue to keep us competitive?

You guys have completely lost it at this point
Missouri is a top 5 recruiting situation? What kind of dimwit do you have to be to come to that conclusion?
And of course, something you all know but remain purposefully daft, soft instate talent is only one of many recruiting disadvantages Mizzou has.

How do you refute something so robustly and wildly stupid?
frick, you can't even form words at this point....even after an edit.

The state of Missouri isn't a hotbed for recruiting, but it was pretty decent this year and we screwed it up by only getting one out of the 10 as of now.(Daniel Parker)
Seven of them didn't even consider us. That's unacceptable! Some people say winning will do the trick, but didn't we win the division in 2013 and 14? Didn't people say that when we moved to the SEC that recruiting will take off? It didn't!
I've learned to accept mediocrity just like everybody else and I try to be positive and find the best in our under-the-radar 2 and 3* players.
Believe it or not, but Mizzou is in the top fourth in the country in money spent on recruiting, so that excuse won't work anymore. Check out Mizzou's offer list and see how many top players around the country that Mizzou offered did they put an assistant coach to be assigned to that player. They just offered the player to make it look good.

Look at where we are ranked in recruiting in the SEC. That just won't get it done in the long term.

I didn’t say that. You didn’t say that. But we are comparing apples to apples.
First the argument was “Missouri doesn’t produce talent.” Then when I produced the 3-star numbers, you said “Missouri doesn’t produce 20 FBS level kids a year” (which wasn’t the original statement anyway). Then when I produced data showing 20 FBS kids do come out of Missouri regularly, you move the goalposts again.
The point is that we are comparing apples to apples. The other states on the original data provided are compared versus the number of FBS schools in the state versus the number of 3*s or above.

Your inability to follow a rational chain of thought is approaching comical.
No matter what anyone says about us recruiting better, your argument is “You’re dumb, it can’t happen.” If nothing is going to change our recruiting situation, let’s quit wasting our recruiting budget and wait for the “underrated, undiscovered talents” to roll in as they do every year.
I know you said you’re in sales, but there’s just no way that’s true.

Why is looking for improvement in recruiting somehow asking too much?
