Georgia's chances at beating Auburn?

What is UGA's injury situation looking like? How good of a chance would you say they have of knocking off Auburn? I really haven't watched Auburn play much this year, so I don't know how good they actually are.

Georgia has a good run defense. But Auburn will probably be the best rushing team they've faced. Auburn has trouble throwing the ball with any consistency but they haven't really needed to yet.
You can score on Auburn. They gave up over 20 to UT and Wazzu. I think their schedule has been favorable but they got a huge win in College Station. So I think they're legit.
I'd put UGA's chances at around 20-25%. Just my opinion.

Sounds like it should be a pretty good match-up. I hope the Dawgs can pull it off.

I'd put their chances a little higher. The X-factor is a healthy Gurley. He has the ability to take over a game. The other team with an outstanding back they played was LSU, and they lost that one. Gurley is arguably better than Hill. Aaron Murray is also a great QB, and even better than JFF (IMO) at distributing the ball, and he has just as many (or more) weapons as A&M. I think Georgia, with a healthy Gurley, may be the best offense they've faced.
That said, it's in Auburn, so the edge has to go to the Tigers. I'd give Georgia a 40-45% chance.

It's a big rivalry game, and it's an evenly match rivalry at that. They've met 116 times and the series is tied.
As we all know, rivalry games have a way of having surprising endings.

Imo it's a toss up Auburns running game is good but despite what all the barners say they can't throw the ball well and UGA has a good run d. Murray and Gurley are the keys if AM has a good game and TG can go UGA by 10 if they struggle it's a close game decided by turnovers

Back:
Todd Gurley
Michael Bennett (starting slot receiver)
Questionable:
Chris Conley (starting wide receiver)
Arthur Lynch (starting preseason all SEC tight end)
Jay Rome (2nd team tight end)
When Gurley came back against FL he looked weak. He looked much better over this weekend and said he was still playing in pain. If he is near 100% vs Auburn, and both Bennett and Conley are back at receiver, and give me one of our two banged up tight ends back, Auburn is in for a 3rd straight blowout from Georgia.
I expect there to be alot of thuggery in this game from both sides. If you watched the UGA FL game, it will look alot like that but possibly worse. Hopefully alot of the penalties will be the offsetting type or the kind that tend to go more against Auburn.
I've watched a little Auburn here and there this season, Marshall looks alot like Mett did last year, very promising but not quite on the mark with his passes. It's rare to have a Jameis Winston or Johnny Football make their debut season as bonafide badasses.
And we've got the same back story that Mett had against UGA this year, Marshall was dismissed from UGA before last season.
Lots of emotions, lots of thuggery.
By the way, part of what makes Auburn have such large rushing amounts is the number of rush plays they run. Same with Georgia Tech, they run the option and run almost every down, Tech was something like #3 in the country last year in totally rushing yards, yet finished unranked, and raped by UGA.
Mason is a good back, but don't let their raw numbers fool you.
They've only played two currently ranked teams this year, and lost to one of them.

All good info. I don't know much about Auburn's defense, and how they do against the run. But with a healthy Gurley, I thing UGA has a good shot.

I like the fact that UGA still has something to play for. Mathematically they still can win the east.

Confirmed on local radio today....
Conley and Lynch are a GO.
Everything is coming together.
Auburn fuuuuuuucked.

For context...
We are back to our starting lineup minus
2nd string running back Keith Marshall (ACL)
1st string receiver Malcome Mitchell (ACL)
2nd string receiver Justin Scott-Wesley (ACL)
2nd string TE Jay Rome (mystery injury on right foot)
In other words.. the offensive starting lineup from day 1 is fully intact except for 1 receiver.
No excuses.

I would put it around 35%, but I don't think it really matters (Mizzou looks better than anyone left on their schedule - though I guess insurance is always nice).
