Yes.... Players do play....?

However, if players aren't hustling/playing inspired, it shows the coach is ineffective in his teaching ability.

It's really unfair that they let Coach K and Tom Izzo on the floor. I'm going to be petitioning the NCAA to change this.

Okay, just for some perspective... KA is a 60+ year old Division II coach. Imagine what would happen if the football team hired someone with the same credentials to take over this year. People would be rioting the goddamn streets of CoMo and paint the town red...

Alden is the person that put Mizzou BB in the crapper and that is the truth. We all know the history, but some chose to ignore it and blame others.

Is HCKA the man to get Mizzou BB out of the crapper? Only time will tell if you give it to him. What is the adequate amount of time? NOBODY knows. That's ADMR's call.

Last night I saw that Mizzou was a half to a full step too slow to defend, especially when they fell behind 14 points at half. They "let off the gas" and relaxed like a big HS player would. Mizzou can't do that because we do not have the premiere player that can carry the team. Keep the intensity for a full game and make more free throws, they would have won. But they didn't. They don't know how to win together as a team yet. They're young with limited talent and it shows.

Soooooooooooo did that team last night not come back and make it a game! Just curious cuz I was there and they needed one bucket under 5 about 4 different times and couldn't get it. Also some of you jokers act as though experience doesn't somehow matter?? Tell that to Wes Clark last night whom tried to win that game all on his own and with a smidgen of help would have....On a side note the refs didn't help. One of them gents used to do a lot of the Mizzouri and KU games. I believe it was him and blonde tips who did our last. Merry Xmas to all, I showed up late and was happy with the second half...

Coach K won 17 games in his first season at Duke.

Izzo won 16 games in his first season at MSU.

HCKA will be lucky to win that many games in 2 seasons at Mizzou.

There is no comparison between KA and the 2 names mentioned. Oh, and KA was about the same age when hired as those 2 guys are now. Little bit harder to give leeway to a guy receiving SS checks already when he was hired.

Not really. That game was never in doubt. Except maybe to those who believe we'll still make post season play.

Wes Clark's experience hasn't done him a damn bit of good all season. So I doubt that's the complete answer. It's part of it, but not all of it.

Every fricking game we hear this. Just fricking stop. I don't let my 10 year old blame refs. It's super weak stuff to even go there. Play a perfect game and lose due to a call and then blame the refs. I don't see us playing a perfect game anytime soon.

Definitely a better half. Problem is, as it has been all year this year and all last season, no where close to putting 40 minutes together.

Y'all would want to fire coach k and Tom Izzo after their first seasons here. If they won the little amount of games they did at their schools. Further more if BO goes 5-7, 6-6 in his first 2 years. Y'all would want him fired as well. Does anyone on here stop and look at yourselves and realize that you are becoming the crazy impatient lynch mob that most claim to dislike.

We had a 3 point shot that would have tied the game. So no you are actually factually wrong in regards to the game never being in doubt....and yes I've disliked that official for a long time. Hope your 10 yr old has a good x mas and you as well.

Supreme moral victory.
We were in a game with a P5 opponent on a neutral floor. We could hit double digit wins.

Bassman, do you really think so? I still have a modest bet that says it won't be double digits. (and I'm not convinced they'll reach 8)

The SEC is down from even last year, at least at the bottom.

We'll have some chances at home against the bottom half of the league.

The SEC is down this year a bit in basketball. Arkansas, for example, can look like a borderline NCAA tourney team one game, and then look completely lost the next. We aren't the only SEC team to look like that either. A lot of teams can be beat in this conference if you catch them on the right night. Missouri has a decent chance of hitting double digits if y'all don't go into a tail spin.

Comparing KA to Coach K and Izzo. That's cute. He is no where close to either. They also both won double what KA did his first year. Their teams also improved over the year and they showed they could recruit. KA not so much.

What we need to do is start Lock.

That will fix everything.
