Do you have the FR24 App?

It's awesome if there's ADS B flights in the area, just point the phone/tablet into the sky and it will tell you which plane is which in real time.

It's pretty cool if you're A380 spotting from 38,000 feet below.

Yeah.

It's pretty cool. My parents live in the SNA 20R approach path.

I taught my dad how to hit up that app and watch the acft fly over his house.

He likes it a lot.

Simple pleasures man.

Yeah, I can see the planes when they make the right turns out of McCarran off the 25s. It's really fun to see where they're going.

You have got to be kidding me? I seriously have sat on the deck at night and watched planes fly by wondering where they were heading and all that time I could have used this app?

Only if they are ADS-B equipped.

Which is NexGen tech, so it's generally only commercial guys and private jets.

NexGen=$$$

Joe Blow Cessna driver won't be equipped.

No offense Zeaux.

Assuming I had the correct flight yesterday, and I'm 99% I did, MR is still in Denver.

Supposition follows: we have some smoke around Utah St. and then a flight from COU to Madison.

Could that smoke be around coordinators? Utah St has Heupel as a coordinator and Wisconsin has a solid DC in Aranda. I'm just spitballing now.

If so, wouldn't that point back to Odom?

It is not going to be Odom

That appears to be a regularly scheduled flight.

It goes KC-CoMo-Madison every week.

K. Thx.

It just seemed odd to have Mack rumored to be at Utah St when Heupel had already been connected to the OC job at our school.

I don't think Utah State guy is the only one he's meeting there.

He got in at around 6:00 last night and the plane is still there. Everyone needs a good night sleep, but there's work to be done if he's spending all morning soaking up coffee and eating free continental breakfast.

He's got to have had a meeting last night and one this morning.

I follow you 808. But that would mean Rhoades has a HC at least 98% bagged. At this point, that could only be Odom, IMHO.

I think Rhoades is swinging for the fence first. Big splashy hire incoming. If not Plan B or C.

I like this line of thought. Normally a HC would hire his assistants but if MR already knows who his guy is, does he reach out to other coaches for his future HC?

So Frost was rumored to be announced at Syracuse yesterday. I think that was to light a fire under Rhule. Rhule pushed us and we didn't indicate we were offering.

Now Frost is rumored to be headed to UCF. Is this to push Babers? Maybe.

I expect Syracuse to announce Rhule.

Maryland is taking a swing at Richt which likely means the Mullen deal is dead for them.

Any other thoughts?

If he's hiring Odom, and part of Odoms plan is a high powered OC, then I can see the AD getting involved to secure him the best OC he can steal from another program.

Actually it makes sense. "Look you're a Mizzou guy, but you know shite about offense. I will hire you if we get you an absolute mercenary to run the offense."

Air force Academy is an hour away from Denver?

(Yes, I like Calhoun.)
