The defense will only lose 3 guys. So yes I see 7 wins, if the offense improves from 126 to say 80. If the improve to a top 50 then there are 8-10 wins, and a chance at the SEC East. Reminder that the east was really bad this year.

Agree. If we'd have had even a "pretty fair" offense, this year would have been 8 wins. Next season, starting fresh with a new OC, we can be very competitive. We know our defense should be tough.

We do not have tons of proven talent at RB. We have tons of proven non-talent at WR.
And the Oline is a complete rebuild next year.
And we have a new head coach and will have a new OC.

How good is the East?
Tennessee is probably the favorite
Georgia and Florida both need to find QBs.
If Mizzou can figure out an OL, then sure there is a chance to win the East. Other than Tennessee every team seems to have major questions, and Tennessee hasn't been world beaters either.

Problem I see is that Mizzou has no offensive line. It's going to be a rough season offensively I think.
We have to sweep Kentucky, Vandy, and USC to get in a bowl. I think that's our only realistic shot.
Then again, Florida won the East this year after their offensive nightmare last season, so who knows.

It's hard to think that the talent on the OL was really as bad as was shown on the field. Competent OL coaching and game planning will surely end with an ability to actually move the ball.
Lock showed on the rare occasion when he had time to throw that he has a super high upside.
