We are forever smitten by them.

Drink can stay or go, us fans will remain. It’s yet to be shown if you can win championships here. We got a long way to go. Drink has taken a step as did Pinkel. Program is Decades in the making in an era of instant gratification. Patience is our friend

Would be nice to have a Pinkel QB on one of Drink’s teams….

Not sure what you are talking about. It doesn’t take time to get to the playoffs these days. Just look around. The days of building programs is gone. Get a good staff and you can win instantly.

It's very clear drink cannot develop a quarterback and that's very important in this league... just take a look at Ole Miss that's a difference between Mizzou and Ole Miss they're quarterback play

Texas A&M HC isn't an offensive minded HC.

Colin Klein is a rising star, I hated him as a player when Mizzou played KState back in the day and I still hate him as an OC. But I respect how he's done it. Marcel Reed is a good qb but Colin has him playing mistake free, smart football, which makes him elite.

Nobody survives the entire season but Brad Smith.

Much like how he played at K-State.

Its unfortunate and perhaps not fair, but Sam Horn has been a big reason for the QB woes.

The amount of simple, short, effective pass plays they ran was mind boggling. I was jealous.

It would be really funny if that's what I was saying. I'm saying have a QB2 made of glass and having to use QB3 two seasons in a row has sucked

In addition to that, Sam Horn is the highest paid QB.

Brady Cook is more to blame and it was unintentional. The kid had flaws but he was all Mizzou through and through. It's like there was a big billboard that said "Come to Mizzou and have no shot at playing." "This team belongs to Cook." Just hard in the age of the portal to get QBs to stay. We lost 2 recruits, 3 transfers and 1 recruit who can't stay healthy. Just nothing to build on.

Gabe defense of Drink

I agree with Gabe's argument here.

That said, I think most of MU's rational fanbase (which I think is a majority) simply wants the coaching staff to be doing everything they can to keep improving and get that breakthrough.

Doing everything they can means moving on from obvious impediments. This whole season has shown that Moore and Link are obvious impediments.

If Drink keeps doing everything he can to keep things moving in the right direction and brings in better special teams and Off coaching this offseason, I will be behind him.
