Yeah, just pulled it up. Looks like he played in 2 games. 2/2 and 1/3. Obviously small sample size, but better first showing than I expected. Will be interesting to see how he does in Springfield.

Wong finished red hot. After his 0/10 start, he hit .500 and led the team in average for whatever that's worth in spring training. Encouraging regardless.

True but damn why keep em around though. Tyler green was bad we sent his arse packing

I don't think you had another CF so you had to keep Jay. Robinson can fill any spot in the outfield IMO but Jay give you a left handed bat in the outfield.

Kozma surprises me a bit. I suppose you keep him for defensive purposes late in the game? Dunno.

So who wasn't kept up on the big squad that you would have liked to have seen make it?

Mine: Piscotty or however you spell it. Thought he had a great spring and made some plays in the field. Frankly, right now, I'd rather have him up than Taveras. I'm starting to get a prima donna or JD Drew feeling about Taveras.

Which team is the most underrated in baseball?
1. A's: 23 percent; 2. Astros: 10 percent; T3. Pirates, Rays, Royals: 8 percent
AL MVP candidate: "The A's have been pretty good, but they're not sexy, so they fly under the radar. No reason they can't get back to the playoffs."

Astros Anyone missing something regarding the Astros, I pegged them to lose at least 90 games.

NL veteran: "The Astros are going to be bad again, but I was impressed by what I saw in spring training. They're bad, but they're not 100-loss bad. I think they will surprise some people. They're going in the right direction."

I thought you started your own thread?

Apparently people in the know think the Astros are better than the Royals.

Why are you so hostile?

Also these are the same people who think the Tigers are nearly as good as the Cardinals, take that for what it's worth.

Tigers Offseason
-Traded a valuable starting pitcher Doug Fister to the Nationals to clear payroll for Max Scherzer and he rejected their contract offer.
-traded Prince Fielder who drove in a 100 runs and hit 29 hr's
-lost Johnny Peralta to the Cardinals
-lost their everyday shortstop for the season
-Victor Martinez will be 36
-Verlander is having elbow problems
-traded to have Ian Kinsler be their starting second baseman, and a lot of his stats were inflated by playing in Texas, probably won't hit .250

Not a chance they will be a World Series contender let alone win the central

You're an easy mark.

I don't pay much attention to the AL, but I kind of agree about Det. Most importantly, they lost a great manager.

The decline should be there this year. You guys should have a great shot. Cleveland should be better this year though. I have no clue about the white sox.

I would thoroughly enjoy facing you guys in the WS, so best of luck.

Catchers can be some of the worst MLB managers that's a fact

See
Ned Yost (Royals)
Mike Scioscia (last 5 years)
Bob Boone (Royals)
Eric Wedge (Indians, Mariners)
Don Wakamatsua (Mariners)
Tony Pena (Royals)
Mike Redomond (Marlins, career suicide)

Few exceptions to the rule

Joe Giradi

Taveras is not a diva, There's no need to rush the kid right now. Why push that ankle and then have it back fire and make his mlb debut delayed longer?

Remo,
This guy is obviously a troll. I know a ton of Royals fans. This is the first one I have ever heard make the silly arguments he is attempting.
