Actually I've stated the best fit for Mizzou would be Clark with his impressive coaching record, ties to the south, and well within our budget. Norvell is intriguing though and nothing more at this point. Also I stated I liked Quin, and you don't have to go over what he accomplished while here, I'm older than you so I know how good he had it rolling before the wheels fell off. My whole point in this is you go from one extreme to the other. Your perception isn't impressive at all due to that. If they hire Kiffin, I will quietly support it but also knowing the bottom may fall out at anytime. We can do much better though than a child/man with low integrity.

I like Clark too, but on further inspection the lack of offense worries me. 65 and 101 in his two years.

Give me Napier and I’ll be happy. He’s really got that offense rolling. He’s young. He’s got a nice ceiling.

I don't have a problem with Napier, Kiffin is just a potential disaster waiting to happen. Something that needs to be passed on.

Strongly disagree but I don’t think it really matters as I can’t see it happening.

Gundy wanted to leave Okie lite, because he hated T Boone running things, but T Boone died.
Gundy staying put.

Don't want Gundy

Norvell
Fickell
Clark
Harsin
Maybe I need to take another look at Clawson

My concern is none of these are even going to get a hard look.

And
Anybody JQ does not want
Nobody JQ does want

Also this seems to be a good year to hire a coach. Not that many openings, and several good candidates. Despite what Lefty says

ETA Harsin

Why not Harsin? He had more experience and success than all of those coaches.

Nuke, you're like Scorsese complaining that superhero movies aren't cinema, and the producers are saying "who cares they make money."

I know you want Clawson because of pure football, but Clawson isn't going to fight off OU, Texas, ND for the 4 star St. Louis kids, Kiffin can. Kiffin is entertainment, we need the money now. Now after we get fat off of Kiffin and his bullshite, then we settle down with a Clawson type hire.

Sources say Lefty's football erudition has landed him a spot on the search committee.

Kiffen is absolutely NOT going to do that. That's the whole point. He's going to sit on his butt where it's warm and the recruits come to him.

Idk if he'd come to the midwest. He's kind of like Odom, idk if he's ever left Boise. He went to high school there didn't he?

Kiffin is the only available coach that is 1. Realistic and 2. Could significantly raise our recruiting profile.

The only one. That’s it.

Sit on his arse? Lol, god you’re dumb

Rumor on TB is Norvell to FSU and Campbell to Arky.

Whoever they hire I hope he has southern recruiting ties, minus Kiffin of course.

Campbell leaving a decent job where's he's seen as the savior? Ahhh. Wouldn't bet on that.

I would tend to agree. $2M or $3M/year can change minds

Sounds right. Rumor is they are offering Campbell 6-7M per year and fully guaranteed LOL

Norvell seems like a disastrous fit at FSU considering his habits. Cocaine and Coed overload down in Tally. Their culture is completely broken anyway. Almost too obvious the probability of failure here
