Drinkwitz Owns Beamer

Why do many so-called "pundits" overlook that Drinkwitz is 3-1 against Beamer? Even last year, South Carolina narrowly defeated Mizzou at home, despite arguably having the stronger team. I'm not saying the South Carolina game is a guaranteed win this year, but I believe Drinkwitz has Beamer's number.

The Rant had a preseason Top 25 thread last winter. Some posters pointed out the first thing pundits look at is if a team has a returning quarterback.
Beamer has a big name returning QB in Lanorris Sellers.

Beamer is a bigger name to media pundits because of his father, and South Carolina markets themselves better as a football power (they aren’t, they won their first bowl in 1995 and had a worse alltime record than Kansas in 2009)
Logically, they have a star QB returning and we have an unknown at that position

Sellers is a stud but they have questions up front on both sides of the ball.
Josiah Thompson looks the part at LT but I think their oline is vulnerable, especially in the A Gaps.
They have solid talent on the edge but their DT two deep is pretty meh and all the top tacklers from the second level are gone.
They have a brutal road schedule (Missouri, LSU, Ole Miss, aTm) and get OU, Bama, and Clemson at home. If their lines dont gel they could have a 2004 Missouri type season.

Sanders is gone but they got a RB out of Utah State that looks like a 3 down guy.
