OK, that would be nuts. But Odom pulled Kelly, who saw that coming? If Drink can sell his playbook, because there is going to be talent to throw to.

Honestly I think his suitors may be limited for reasons not football related. It’s interesting at least

He’s got more upside than Bryant did with a lot of the same downsides.

Probably an ok gamble if he can manage it. He’d have to manage it better than he did this year. And you probably immediately have Macon hit the portal.

So we would have Rattler and Horn as the #2. A 5 star WR and an underrated 3/4 star WR. Good lord.

Maybe, but Rattler would be a one year guy

Would be a good bridge to Horn. Lower pressure on the kid but an SEC stage.

He also follows Caleb Williams (as does Luther Burden)

Kid seems like a huge dbag, Malik Henry 2.0. Our offense would be a lot more fun to watch than it was this past Saturday though

Agreed.
But we survived the Maty Mauk era. Barely. And Odom didn’t survive, but we survived the Kelly Bryant era.

Where will Spencer Rattler transfer? Best possible landing spots for former Oklahoma QB to salvage NFL Draft stock

LINK

Sources have mentioned Ole Miss as one of the potential landing spots for Dillon Gabriel, the UCF QB who just entered the transfer portal.

Ole Miss OC Jeff Lebby recruited and coached Gabriel at UCF. Gabriel led the nation in passing last season (357 yards per game).

I'd hate to see this happen.

He tweeted out something about patience over the weekend which most took at him wanting to stay.

I also wonder what Drink isn't seeing out of him and Cook that made him stick with a husk of Bazelak.

I was not impressed with Rattler against many defenses that are considerably worse than SEC defenses.

Don't want. Develop the QBs we have and the incoming.
