Depends on how Tom Herman views things. He may come in with a transfer QB in mind. (See what I did, I hired Tom Herman)

then Drink will make a statement to the press about players who aren’t committed to reaching their potential the right way.

And in the meantime, Heupel and Vitello will be high-fiving over their new pitcher/QB transfer.

Anyone else watch the post game presser?

While I like Cook I also want a fair QB competition. Last night was nothing close to that. Cook got 21 pass plays to Horns 5. Basically they had horn hand it off every play.

Post game Drink says to ESPN, basically you have to pick the guy that scores the most. He also said that Cook is in the lead for the spot and that's why he's starting first half. No desire to let horn start first half next week. If his daughters were over 18 he'd want them to date Brady Cook. Then as he's leaving you can hear him tell staff to go get Brady to speak to the press.

This feels decided.

Why not you ask the AD to fire Drinkwitz before the final decision is made.

Lol. What the point playing 2 then? Probably to placate us fans as we’d scream bloody murder and rightfully so. Nothing I saw from Cook demo’s any improved ability.

If he doesn’t start Horn first half next week, the QB battle was always a sham and Eli doesnt know what he’s doing.

The point is to give Horn the reps so he can step in when Cook is injured or not playing well in a game. This is a good idea. Remember last year there was no one to take over for the injured Cook. This will give Horn the opportunity to replace Cook in the future.

I think Odom rode the pinkel wave with lock. Then once pinkels guys were gone we ended up where we are today. A year with ballsacks unmotivated play and no seriously good option to go with years later.

I thought Horn looked good. The INT was on Miller for running the wrong route. If Burden was in it could have been a big play. The incomplete pass to Wiese was a good throw. He had to throw it away or throw it to where only Wiese could make a play on the ball.

The TD pass to Burden I don’t think Cook makes, because he holds onto the ball to long on screens.

I’m convinced (not solely on the basis of last nights game) that Horn is disappointingly not that great in a raw stage. Drink has no clue how to develop a QB, so his talent will be wasted. Drink hired an OC whose strategy comports with his…boring and unsuccessful. Another boring 6 win season (stretch to 7).

Throw the frickING BALL DOWN THE FIELD JUST ONCE AT LEAST! Really, at this point what do you really have at risk?

I think last night they wanted to throw long. Once he hit Stephens, because nobody was open down field. He hit the 31 yard pass and it looked good. I don’t think the WR’s ran or finished their routes downfield. Couldn’t tell with the camera angles, but I didn’t see a go route.

The Int was a great play call. It was very similar to what KC runs with Mahomes and Kelce.

Wease runs up the middle takes out the safety. The CB that was on Wease takes Peat that came out of the backfield. The OLB and MLB take the TE and Horn. Miller is open to the inside, but starts moving to the outside where Peat and the other CB are at. Horn is double clutching because Miller was in the wrong spot. If Miller runs the play right there is still talk about who is going to be QB1.

Cook on that route would have tucked the ball and ran for 2 or 3 yards. Horn can make that throw because of his arm strength.

Burden makes that play
