Drew Lock just does not have "It"

I have been the biggest proponent of Lock. But that kid just can't win us games. I hate to say it, but If we have any other QB with moxy we are 5-0.
And that covers up coaching and talent deficiencies.

Lock doesn't call the plays. He doesn't design the offense. That arm will do him well with the right coaching staff

I hear you, but at the same time he has placed balls that puts our WR in compromising positions. Look at this game, two passes that standout are misses behind receivers that could have been TD's.

He wasn’t very good today. No way to spin it. He was inaccurate and that pick was absolutely horrible.
Conditions were bad, missing the starting WR yes but he needs to play better.

He also had a perfectly thrown pass to Johnson that should have been a TD.
Once the bad weather came Lock was really bad.

I have never been a fan of Lock as a qb and I honestly look at him as a Gabbert clone. Some team will over draft him and somebody will lose their job for it. We should have beat SC by at least by 28 points, but our qb has been brutal for the last 2 games without a td pass.

Im with you on that one Jesus. Great QB's overcome that play though.

IDK. He had a shitty day. Throwing bullets in a monsoon can't be easy

Lock has all the tools, physically, but I’m beginning to work dear if he has that “damn it to hell, we’re winning or we will die trying” attitude that Brad, Chase, and hell, even Frank the Tank had. They stepped up in big games. They led. Even Gabbert had big games. I suppose you can argue talent. A true #1 WR. Locks nit really had that and his guy, Hall...injured.
At the same time, he just seems to consistently melt under pressure in big games (any conference game). Maybe he’s entrenched in the losing ways of BoDumb, I dunno. But you don’t see a fiery moxy.
When the monsoon hit, he just crumbled. Didn’t seem to fire his team up. He melted in the rain and threw yet another godawful pick 6. How many does that make in his career? His conference numbers are awful.
I suppose though, we will know just how bad BoDumb may have ruined him by how well he does in the NFL.

Lock is only missing good receivers.

SC's backup qb had a career day in the rain storm.

Lock is far from our biggest problem.

The reality is he’s an overrated player. He beats up lousy defenses. And gets shut down against good defenses. There’s no other way to spin it.

Exactly. South Carolina’s backup QB had no problem throwing in the rain.

Lock hasn't thrown a td pass in the last 2 games. The last 2 games were against SEC defenses. Please don't use the rain as an excuse, because SC's backup qb threw 3 tds.
Quarterback: Yes, Emanuel Hall and Nate Brown were injured. Yes, the third quarter was played in a downpour. Drew Lock has excuses, but the fact remains he did not play well Saturday. Lock completed 17 of 36 passes, didn’t throw a touchdown and was intercepted twice. One of those interceptions, a screen pass intended for Tyler Badie that was picked off in the third quarter, has to rank among the worst decisions of Lock’s career. Worst of all, Lock struggled when it mattered most, finishing the game with zero completions on eight attempts in the red zone. This might have been his worst game since his freshman season. GRADE: F
