I still think that Jontay's weakness is in the low post.

I mean sure, ya.
But a player of that size, with that skill set, at that age(!) is something teams love.

Not a NBA fan, but if teams are pursuing all these 1 and dones, are they just dumping vets at a record pace to make room? Seems like the union would not like that.

The NBA is stupid. Nikola Pekovic was signed to a $60M deal. Omer Asik makes $11M a year. Harrison Barnes was signed to a $90M contract. It’s almost silly to try to rationalize what they do.

I really wish they would change the rule.
One and done is bad for the college game, and the NBA. Too many times there have been guys that came out and ended up in the DLeague or overseas. Some of the guys knowingly do that, but plenty think they'll be in the NBA when they won't.
They should adapt the baseball rule. If a kid is truly good enough to jump from high school then let him, if not you go to college and stay 3 years before you are eligible.

The NBA has been talking about eliminating he 1 and done rule. That could happen as soon as the 2019 draft.
If that happens it could help to keep both Jontay and Tilmon through their junior seasons. Players like Wiseman would go before both Mizzou players.

Ronnie Suggs could be the next Barnett.
I have never seen Ronnie Suggs play and sitting out a year should really improve his game. Out of high school he was rated higher than Vanleer and Puryear
Barnett played very little while he was at Texas. Transferring and sitting out a year improved his game.
Hopefully the same can happen with Suggs

Any good grad transfers available?
MU got lucky with robertson, could use another scorer who could come in and be the man immediately .

The coaches are pretty high on Santos ability to come in and play th Barnett role. He won’t be as good next season as Barnett is this year, but will provide some scoring.
