0-9 the past 5yrs against the Chiefs. Mahomes is 24yrs old. Could take a while before they brake the string.

As a die hard broncos fan since week 14 last season, they have along way to go on both sides.

Chicago, sports wise, is different. We really hate those assholes.

agreed, I hate them a lot more than KC. KC fans just showed a side of them during that royals run that will always cause me to cheer against them.

They’re an annoyance. Try separating them from the teams and it’ll be fine.

It’s odd. When the Blues won, I didn’t think “haha Kansas City.” Same with the Cardinals or the Rams. But that seems to be a default with a portion of their fan base.

That’s because we’re familiar with winning championships. Every generation in STL has seen one in the big 4 leagues. They can’t say that. It doesn’t help matters when the rest of the country thinks you’re in that god forsaken state to the west.

Not saying every kc fan rooted against the blues, just every KC person I know.

Id hope royals fans rooted against us, since we have a team too. That part makes sense.

I will say this being not from either city but a lot closer to KC so KC fan... when I started at Mizzou I was a STL fan too, go Missouri . I never thought of there being any rivalry with STL because KC real rivals were things like Raiders and Broncos. I didn't realize how much STL disliked KC until going to college. Man all the St. Louis people just would shite on the Royals and Chiefs. Being a college kid I did not care for that much, but with a bit of time you just realize that is what college kids do.

Maybe it is just a STL/KC thing, but I did not know the rivalry that was held between the two until going to college

Well, My apologies you had some bad experiences with some KC fans. There are also some bad experiences on this side with St Louis fans that I also experienced. Personally, I don't have a problem with St Louis people or their fans. This KC vs Stl debate is just so old and stale. We are from the same state and I have no prob cheering for Stl if KC isn't involved. It's just silliness on both sides that occasionally divide us.

I heard Travis Kelce was drunk as Hull yesterday. He learned from the best.

absolute truth. I grew up a royals fan and cardinals fan because they were missouri teams. Once in columbia, the STL fans were such pompous assholes with no provocation I couldn't stand even being in the same room as those folks. Pure trash when it came to baseball.

Thank you, sir. Feels good man

It's been a hectic week...parade yesterday was a good time (although the weather and waiting was miserable). Hoping to do it again in 1 year

As someone who has lived in St. Louis and never in KC and now in Columbia, I never understood why they hate so much. I actually remember when the Rams were winning and the dome was half-filled, and this was in 1999 when they won it all.

I also remember the Colts trying to get the Rams fans when they left St. Louis.

I worked at ESPN and Bernie would be going off on the fans because they sucked so bad.

That was during the time when the threat of relocation became real and he called the fanbase, who had legitimate concerns of the future of the NFL there, chicken little. You would’ve thought that he, of all people who knows what it’s like to have a team ripped from you, would’ve understood that. There’s a reason he’s called a windsock on the web.

Agree. Guess I am an outlier but I am a Missourian, first and foremost. If the Royals play the Cardinals, I root for the Royals. Other than that, I like seeing the Cards and Blues succeed. Wish the St.Louis folks would get on board with the Chiefs but whatever.

I was in shock after it happened. I didn't realize it until now. It took me two days to process that the Chiefs won the Super Bowl

I've watched it three times and still feel like it's not real.

Did you record it? I'm looking for a way to re-watch the game in full so I can actually enjoy it this time. I was too busy trying to calm my nerves watching it live
