1 - An OC that's willing to gamble a little bit. I don't want some degenerate who spends every day at the boat, but I would like one that has enough wherewithal (and a poker face) to sit down and play a little Texas hold em now and then.
2 - A QB that can get the ball to our playmakers. He may already be on the roster, but not likely. My first wish will have a lot to do with my second.
3 - Another Keegan Trost type at OT from the portal. A strong, durable, nasty, consistent presence upfront, to go along with our younger OL already on the roster would be the perfect mix
4 - To keep both Trotter and Wilson for next season. Wilson is a longshot, but this is a wish list, so I'm wishing my wish.
5 - CBs from the portal whose coverage skills elevate the defense to the next level. If wish #4 doesn't completely come true, we may not get the QB pressure we got this season. It could come down to what's more available in the portal: quality CBs or quality DEs.

What are some other wishes we can put on the list?

#1- The next OC has to have a proven record of developing the QB position. I dont think it necessarily has to be at the P4 level.

#2- I think they have to go get a top tier guy from the portal. Zollers has all the tools. Beau does not. Sidwar will be a true Fr. The new OC needs to have a guy that can push Zollers to the next level or be the guy himself. They will win 5 maybe 6 games next year if the QB play isnt at least middle of pack in conference play.

#3- There are some answers on this years roster, especially if Green gets a middle round or later grade. Whit Hafer, Johnny Williams, and Jayven Richardson are guys that will factor in at tackle regardless of what Green decides to do. They will have at least 2 seasons under Jones and be ready to take the next step.

#4- Early wont have trouble grabbing help out of the portal. He turned Young into a draft pick and got Wilson's athleticism to translate. I expect both Freshman to take big steps. As I stated in another thread, Hopkins is going to be a dude. I think the bigger need is at DT. McClellan was the most underrated DT in the conference IMO. Some NFL team is going to get a steal.

#5. Safety play is a bigger concern than CB to me.

Supposedly Sherrone Moore is available, he is from Kansas and used to be Michigan's OC. I'm hearing he loves golden girls.
