Congrats to the KC Chiefs who live and die with them. Been with them during all the playoff shortcomings from the Schottenheimer era to the Pissoli era.

To the St. Louis Chiefs fans, F off.

I welcome all Chiefs fans from anywhere in the great state of Missouri

We’re truly spoiled right now…feels good after decades of futility.

Ahhhhh....

I love threads like this .

Freudenfreude is the sense of happiness and shared joy we feel when others succeed, the opposite of schadenfreude.

Some of us of a certain age became Chiefs fans after the Cardinals left and never adopted the Rams. FYI.

I think the parade tomorrow will be crowded but worth it.

Debating on whether to go or not.

If we beat Auburn tonight I will be too boned up to not go. It’d be an amazing week of sports for me.

Well it's not directed to you. It's more to the media and the Blues who want to cram the NFL back in the throats of the citizenry. Sports fandom comes naturally.

I still don't understand the KC chip-on-the-shoulder bit against STL.
I tend to like KC people better than STL people, and I'm from STL.
Never had anything against KC growing up, except the 85 World Series.
Your team just won a championship. Enjoy it.

Pretty sure McMillan is a STL guy. I think what he was saying is STL folks shouldn’t be supporting the Chiefs because the NFL screwed STL. Personally, I think it’s great to have support from STL and think it makes a lot of sense the same way KC should cheer for the Blues. It’s all in-state.

Chiefs had 1 defensive player speak at the parade and it was Bolton. He ended it by saying M-I-Z

That's almost as ridiculous as when the Colts fanbase tried to recruit the St. Louis fanbase because they were like 3 minutes closer than KC is to Stl on Google maps.

Right. I don’t want to take away from the victory, but I don’t appreciate the local team congratulating another town’s championship. That’s some Empire State Building decked out in Philadelphia Eagles colors BS.

It's a team from Missouri. I started following the Chiefs after the Cardinals left, then rooted for the Chiefs and Rams after StL got the Rams. I don't follow the NFL anymore, but if you enjoy the day (Super Bowl) requiring the largest human slave trafficking into the USA, and you are from MO, why not root for the Chiefs?

Think the San Diego Padres would congratulate the Chargers if they won it all ? The Rams, 49ers, Kings, etc ?

C'mon, have some pride.
