Barry gets $6,500,000 to coach Purdont.

I think Barry is a good coach. (He’s a better coach than a program director, IMO.)

Most coaches would give their eye teeth for a season like he had at Memphis. Or UNLV.

Does he get over the hump at a Power conference school? What is a success at Purdue? Does he stay more than 4 years?

Edit: I somehow thought he was HC at Memphis. He wasn’t.

See what happens when you are away too long.

i really thought he should stay at UNLV to insure a better opportunity than Purdue but maybe his agent thought he had no shot at a better job w/out actual SEC/B1G success under his belt.

I disagree with you. Dan Mullen is now the HC at UNLV.

He is certainly taking care of his former coworkers and players. His staff is loaded with them.

Purdue football staff

I counted 9 former Tiger coaches or players

I'm looking forward to see how he does in the BIG. He should be able to get four years or more to build his program.

Portal, Nil, and the game in general have changed since he was in the SEC. Hopefully it is to his advantage.

I like seeing all the ex - tigers coaching and doing well. I'd like to see a hard luck with injuries guy like Terry Beckner get a nice coaching gig to. Depending on what he is up to these days.

I heard Jeremy Maclin is a offensive coordinator at Kirkwood Mo. High? There is guy to watch.

Correction: J Mac has been the Head Coach at Kirkwood since 2021. Time flies.
