Do you think that based on position need or skill-wise?

Gordon and especially Ramey are light years ahead of Hellems, but a shooting guard i probably more important for mizzous needs

Both would be great additions. It’s more based on what I’ve heard from PM and other recruiting sites.

Twitter is saying Cuonzo took the whole staff to Webster Groves to see Ramey today and 247 is up to 57 percent.

Hellems is going to commit tomorrow.

Are we really taking another wing?

If a Chaminade kid wants to come to Mizzou, I think we have to take them.

Hellems fits where the game is going. He doesn’t really have a position, and that doesn’t matter.
Wing isn’t a position of need with Santos and Watson, but I think we happily take Hellems if he wants to commit.

Watson is listed as a SG on 247, but I always see him mentioned as a wing.

Can he play the 2?

He’s probably best suited as a 2. 6’4” is my guess

Mizzou could literally just recruit St. Louis and put top 20 classes on the floor every year. Cuonzo is going to be a revelation for this program.

No the last couple of years has been great, but there have been many years without great STL talent.

There is really almost no difference between a 2 & a 3 in college. Both are wings.

I would break college positions down to: Ball handler, Wing and Big.

I doubt Mizzou takes anyone until Ramey and maybe Gordon eliminate Mizzou.

BTW tomorrow is a big visit day, lots of 2019 recruits will be in Columbia. That includes Liddell, McKinney, Harvey, Mosley and possibly Wilson.
