As much as it would pain me, Burden needs to transfer.

Because it would be a travesty to waste his talents.

Why? He’ll play with better quarterbacks than Cook.

Stick around and help build a good team

Not sure if serious but I'll play. He's been out of HS for 15 minutes and if you look at the replays they've shown, he's not getting open.

Burden needs to catch the ball when it hits his hands. If he is going to draw so much attention every game, someone else needs to be filling the void. Lovett may be the beneficiary, but QB cannot make the read. Same story with Mookie...QB has a ferrari at his disposal and can't find his keys.

he needs to focus on catching anything catchable. he has been handed a lot of money at a young age. probably affected his work ethic a little.

They are all saying their 5* freshman should transfer after four games?

I find that hard to believe

Burden is a great talent but this team isn't getting turned around by a few playmaker ar receiver. This team needs to be more concerned about building from the trenches and solid fundamental football, not flashy skill position players.

But as a 5* he should be! Something is really wrong here. Not really but Drinkwitz is stuck with some others that are not good enough or ready to make a difference. Plus, the OL isn't doing their part. I say wait until next year where the OL and possible a different quarterback will be the starter and be much better and can get the plays to open up. Right now, it is a wash when there isn't much talent and/or experience to make it a good team. Next year is where I am seeing should get those set in and make a huge difference. Drinkwitz is still learning and each year he will be gaining more knowledge and experience to make the team much better. I did say in year 4 and/or 5 will be the year(s) to get the team set and be ready to compete with the rest of the SEC. Maybe not for championship or division but for second place in the east division. Plus, by the time Oklahoma and Texas join the SEC the team should be ready for a good competition. Trying to make a HC change just before Oklahoma and Texas join will be a huge killer. Not a good idea to start over unless the team is really bad for the next 2 years.

He's not playing against HS kids anymore; he's playing against guys that are better than he RIGHT NOW bc he's a FR.
