A bust at Oregon. Can he help us?

Supposedly had multiple injuries while at Oregon.
If healthy he can help. Will keep Mizzou from relying on multiple freshmen receivers

Meh....
This was my initial response, then I remembered his high school film. If he’s healthy there’s a chance he is a big help.

He will add depth but I dont expect much from him. He had 4 catches for 31 yards at Oregon. I would say he doubles that production at Mizzou.

He torched guys in 4a ball that were headed to Baker and Evangel.

Is Lee Summit West 4a. That was probably his best game in high school. He had about 300 yards and 4-5 TD’s.

He was seriously awesome in HS. Did nothing in college. We shall see. We sure have a lot of WR on scholarship now.

As soon as they his dad was joining the team i was hoping this would happen. Don’t know how good he’ll be but he has the raw skills.

By my count there are now 12 scholarship receivers on the roster now.
Hall, Johnson, Floyd, Brown and Smith return. I’m betting Wingo transfers he will be a senior and is no where near getting in the rotation.
Ballard and Ofodile are transfers. Then the freshmen Knox, Gicinto, Scott, Grey, and Thompson.

Will he be on scholarship or be a walk on?
With his dad as a coach I’d figure he walks on

That was Royce Boehm's worst team in a decade. One starter from the back end of that 2014 LSW went on to play college ball.....at Benedictine. None of them were more than 6' tall.
The best DBs in the state that year were Perkins and Hilton. He never stepped on the field vs either. He played against an extremely weak talent pool.
I would have saved the scholarship.

I'm willing to give the kid a chance. Its a relatively small(short) investment for MU. sometimes a change of scenery and coming home can do wonders for a player. Bottom line: if the kid is gonna be wearing the black and gold and is willing to bust his arse to be the best he can be; then I will be rooting for him.

I think the raw talent is there.
If Ofodile puts in the work and is healthy I believe he can help this team maybe even start
At Oregon Ofodile missed 2015 with an injury. Then was injured and missed both of his off-seasons.

I'd rather invest the scholarship next year and see what Scott can do. Oft injured and a lack of separation speed don't give me much hope for him.

The lack of seperation speed will fit nicely with Ballard and Brown. Scott can work as the backup to Hall.

Ballard ran at least two laser time 4.3s. One at the 2014 NFTC in Chiraq and a second at a university of Illinois camp. He also has two long jump attempts of over 22'. I forgot about him when I mentioned Scott but I would give both an opportunity before Ofodile.
