I wonder with this large recruiting class if drink is anticipating a lot of guys hitting the portal
Or I wonder if he anticipates the SEC will quit hamstringing themselves with 85 scholarships and go to 105

Fwiw on3 has him as a heavy Ohio state lean

Yeah, didn't really expect us to be in the mix, but just in case we found a bag somewhere. We could always use speed on the corners.

Sorry. That was meant about Ruffin

I figured we cooled on Ruffin when we landed overton

We will see what Jamal Brooks has to say about that.
Anyone remember when Terry Beckner was a heavy Ohio State lean after his official visit right before signing day.

Some visitors this weekend, not sure if this is an extensive list. Interesting that a 2026 QB is taking an OV. As far as I can tell, Gavin Sidwar is not taking visits elsewhere, it would be surprising if we took 2 HS QBs wouldn't it?

Not really, the kid is a legacy, and there is a VERY real chance, we start fall camp next year with Zollars as starter, Pribulea moved on, Sidewar as a back up, and a walk on as 3rd string. I assume we try to get a transfer qb with some experience, but who wants to come sit? By taking a local development qb, you would at least have another camp arm...and he can red shirt and learn as well. Might simply be a numbers game for the roster...who knows...but Mizzou needs to scout for every scenario.

This Marriot kid is really growing on me.

All these sons of old hosses coming up as QBs cracks me up a bit. Raiola at NEB, Becht at Iowa St. Now Marriot.

Plus Micah Wilson who was a QB but switched to WR. Scored a TD vs LSU when we beat them at home. Drinks first big win.

And Drew Lock's dad, Andy, was an old lineman, right?

Watched him play last year and he reminds me of Brady Cook. He is surrounded by offensive talent. He has a WR that runs a 10.38 and another that runs a 10.92. Platte County’s RB runs a 10.72 and the best player on the team is probably their TE. Last year their offensive line was just as good as Nixa’s or better.
Platte County might be as good as any team Missouri has had in the past 10 years. They can score on anybody.
He is good at baseball too. He was a 1st team All State outfielder on Platte County’s state championship.
