Why are you upset? Drinkwitz got to prove himself that he can make the playoffs and field a good football team regularly. That is why many players are in a wait and see approach. He shall get it done this coming season.

A big reason that recruiting has taken a step back is we are lacking a player that can help recruit. For 3 years LB3 recruited players and last year he had help from Zollers. Both were texting players and on Social Media getting players interested in Mizzou. Drink would close the deal, but he had help getting players

The recruiting game has changed. Eli is focused on transfer portal. Why pay top dallar for a 5 star from high school if you can get one on the market a year later that has shown upside potential?

Right now Drinkwitz needs to win games and get players to do well on the field. Doing that again this coming season will help big time. Look at North Carolina, South Carolina, Kansas, Arkansas, MSU, Nebraska, Illinois, and some former top football programs. Mizzou is doing better than expected. Just wait until after signing day.

Yep. And he's been killing it there.
If Drink finally-finally hits on an elite quarterback of his own the program can realistically compete for the SEC title.

I wouldn't hold him to that, if there is a kid they like, or multiple kids they can flip that meet our criteria, he'll go up to 20.

Figured that was the case, but it helped clarify the fact that we weren't "missing" targets.
Instead, we simply aren't putting the value on high school recruits that we used to. Some folks around here thought we were getting our arse kicked on the recruiting trail, when that's clearly not the case.

I do know were chasing the #1 kid from Arkansas who committed to Oklahoma State now that Gundy got fired.
