Drink really building here and I don’t think we should be worried about losing him. He’s already in the SEC. A playoff CC win or even a deep playoff run and he’d be a god here. He’d surpass Pinkel. Every other program he’d live in the shadow of more success.

Yet no other power of 5 schools is after him. Only Maryland and they are not a top or even a mid-power of 5 football program.
Jaylen Brown is now ranked a 92 and a 4*. He was an unranked player at the beginning of summer and no FBS offers. After his football camps and visit to Mizzou on 7/29 he was a low 3* in August.
He was a great unknown pickup for Drink. The guys from Bama said he had a really good HS coach from a really good HS program.

In the take it from what it's worth category... I texted a friend with Mizzou connections who said Drink's got something bigger than any of yesterday's studs in play. I didn't ask who, but I have an idea. It would be quite the coup if my hunch proves true.

I'm not sure they need him, but adding St. Louis 5* is a win every time. I like that it appears they've cracked the Lee's Summit North / Kansas City blockade too. Keeping the local studs local could make this this highly sustainable.
