What games did Coach fly into last night? Old buddy of mine posted a picture with him in St. Charles and said he was headed to other schools in the area. Hoping the Flyers were on that list.

Can this help revive toriano pride?

I doubt the Michigan offer is commitable. He's gonna be a big kid. Probably ends up a quick DT. We gonna get him.

Another big recruit incoming

That would be great if he's got his head on straight.. Are other schools even still recruiting him?

Well, if the charges stick as filed, the MINIMUM sentence is 1 year which can be immediately be probation. So he doesn't do time but probation means he can't leave the state. Hell of a recruiting pitch.

He will plea down. Staff is fully aware of what happened and where the case stands. They seem to be comfortable with it, so I see no reason to question their judgement on it.

I say they go probation and Drink shows up on court with his NLI ready to sign.

He's got an E felony and an A misdemeanor. The felony carries UP to 4 years in DOC. The misdemeanor is up to 1 year in county jail. The E felony is the lowest level felony possible. Both seem to arise from the same series of events with one other person.
He just got an attorney at the end of September. Google tells me the attorney is capable and I'd expect that felony to get pled down to a misdemeanor and for the guy to take a year or two of probation with some conditions. Just guessing but anger management, no contact with the victim, community service, etc.
There are thousands of people out there on misdemeanor probation for all sorts of offenses. No reason, in my mind, to walk away from the kid. If the coaches think he's a take then I'd fully trust that decision.

This recruiting class is shaping to be the best ever in history for Drinkwitz and Mizzou. Drinkwitz got to keep getting more SEC talents in order to compete for championships.

We needed something to go right to give hope. Thankfully Drink is out hustling. Let's keep up the recruiting momentum.
