Ardens father played with Walters. I didn't think Walters was that old.

Lol, he’s not. He played with RW’s dad

Shemar Pearl didn't make it to Mizzou a few years ago because of grades and he went JUCO. So, you think it's grades again.

Yes, I’d be shocked if it wasn’t.

Gotta say, I am damn near giddy over this class.

Rivals has us holding at 20. That's a great job by Drink and crew.

It must be time for me to have a stroke 'cause it finally looks like Mizzou could go on a nice roll.

2020 high 4* recruit Mookie Cooper from St Louis has entered the transfer portal after redshirting at Ohio State. Played WR and CB in high school, would think he would definitely be at the top of Drink's list of transfer targets

I dont see him coming here. My guess is Illinois. Although, I could see him being used a lot in Drinks offense, sorta like a knox of badie

I heard that he was better than both of those players.

Why?

I’m not sure 3 yards and a cloud of dust is his best fit.

because Illinois was always one of his top choices when he committed to both Texas and tOSU, and my guess is kept wanting to go to the flashier school and not the better fit. So Im guessing he'll realize that this time. Of course the coaching change could play a part, but he has several close friends and family at Illinois. just my guess.

I know Illinois was high on his list in HS but I find it hard to believe any offensive playmaker would want to play for Bert over Drink. I have no idea what Cooper will decide just speculating

The staff he was close to at Illinois is no longer there. He’s got plenty of friends at Mizzou too. I don’t know where he’ll go though

He’d be a much better fit in our offense though

His head coach in high school played at Mizzou.

When is this kid going to commit to Mizzou for the 2021 class?

MIZZOU lands a committment from a punter-kickoff specialist rated as a 5* punter by Kohl's.

Jack Stonehouse.

Don't discount Bert's ability to BS recruits. He actually got some highly rated recruits to go to Arky the first couple of seasons he was down there.

He might be competition for 2-3 seasons. You know, that honeymoon period before the actual results on the field start playing a part in a coach's ability to recruit.

And, it will be easier for him to pull off an 8-4/7-5 season in the Big 10 than it was in the SEC.

Arkansas always recruits relatively well. Glancing back at their recruiting classes, there was no significant increase after he got there. Same for his time at Wisconsin. He may slightly improve Illinois' recruiting (can't get worse than it currently is) but I am not worried about him stealing many recruits from Drink

One-time Mizzou commit Jafar Armstrong has entered the transfer portal at ND, along with fellow Bishop Miege high school teammate Colin Grunhard (former walk-on). Not sure if Armstrong would be a target, but interesting to note.

Armstrong would be a good addition as a bigger rb who can also catch the ball like a wr. I'm betting Dri k is interested.
