Didn't Armstrong flip from Mizzou to ND right before NSD? Different coaching staff and all but I would prefer if Mizzou passed on him as a transfer after that. If he barely sees the field after 3 seasons he's probably G5 bound anyway

Guys, he's a rb/wr hybrid with solid rb experience, 6', 215. Why not have him to compliment our 5'9" quick, shifty guys?

Cause we have freshman Elijah Young who can do that.

Young isn't very big. Butts is a larger rb recruit and neither are 6'. Never a bad thing to have a bigger rb in the SEC.

Dawson Downing is returning for a 5th season. He's 6'0 220. Bigger, stronger, and faster than Benedict Armstrong

Here's a kid that looked pretty good to me when they would play him, but for some reason he's the forgotten man. He played with a lot of power. Is he the kid that was tackled one time and his pants came down?

Rountree was only 5'10" 210 LBs.

Young is 5'9" 190 LBs as a freshman, can only imagine he puts on another 5-10 LBs on by next season, id say that's pretty good size for a change of pace back.

Wow - Barry Odom was such a horrible recruiter. Drink is raking all of these beast in like it’s slight work.

Our future is truly trending up imo... MIZ

I assume he'll serve as a replacement for once Badie is gone? Wont get much PT next year?

If he's eligible he will be an immediate impact player. Can't imagine Drink not getting him involved. In the slot, returning kicks, whatever it takes he is too much of a playmaker to be left out

This year we had six 4*’s on the team total

So far drink has signed (including transfers, and 2022 class):

FIVE 4 *’s
Or
SEVEN 4*’s (if you count Macon and Lovett, which they are on some sites)

Starting to tighten that talent gap up a little bit
