His dad wanted him to go to a challenging university.

This argument flies if he went to Stanford or Vanderbilt, but makes a weak reason for Harbaugh U.

Cooper is no longer committed to Texas. He isn't coming to Missouri but what a clown show.

Rivals100 ATH Mookie Cooper has re-opened his recruitment and is no longer committed to Texas. Visited Illinois last weekend, says he's back to square one.

Cooper made things pretty clear when trimmed his list and didn't include Missouri a few months back.

Trinity Catholic players no-like Mizzou! Their former coach is an assistant at Illinois, but their present coach played at Mizzou. Go figure!

With the exception of Jalani Williams Mizzou is struggling getting the higher-rated players out of St. Louis or even having them seriously interested.

Cooper plays for Trinity so the chances for him coming to Mizzou are slim and none.

He’ll probably go to Illinois after he drags his recruitment out too far like Shamond Cooper did where he can win 4 games a year.

:brandnewinformation:

If the FBI started nosing around in STL, it would be interesting (and a waste of FBI resources).

Really nice instate pickup. This guy is going to be a quality OL. Very smart kid, and a really nasty run blocker.

Excited about this kid. Local to me so I hope to watch him play this fall. I believe Mizzou was recruiting him as a center.

Center would seem to be a good position for him.

We just lost one of the top if not top player in the state in wr Jordan Johnson to ND. He really never considered Mizzou.
