That’s the vibe I get too. I’d love to be proven wrong, but he seems like a 100% “me first” type of cancerous locker room presence.

Osu fired jim tressel after a 12-1 season for knowing about his players relationship with a tattoo parlor. This seems on par with that. The big ten does not like a negative image, so pressure will be immediate on them to dump meyer. I say at best he’s got a 50/50 chance to keep his job.

+1 to that. They fire him, call up the big donors, and go find a hot name who knows the recruiting game and how to cheat discreetly to get the big recruits.

Matt Campbell seems like a natural choice there. He’s an Ohio guy and has been about as successful as you can be at ISU.
Bob Stoops could be another option. If Stoops goes and Mizzou has a good defense I could see Walters in play for DC. His first coaching experience as a grad assistant was with Mike Stoops at Arizona, followed by another grad assistant position with Oklahoma.

I doubt Walters would end up as the DC of OSU under Stoops, but it’s not due to a loyalty to BO.

Due to everything happening in college football right now my family & I have decided it’s best I delay my commitment date and reopen my recruitment fully....
Sounds like he was going to pick osu and with the possibility of a new coach, he’s looking. If he was picking us he wouldn’t have delayed.

I’m not sure why you would give up at this stage of the process. If Mizzou has a good year then sure there’s a chance at all of them.
