If they(recruits) are choosing between the Illini and Mizzou all they have to say is that BO is on the hot seat and this might be his last year staff and all.

Any commitment to Illinois is moot as Smith won't finish the season.

Illinoid is coming off an 0-9 conference season and have lost 17 of 18 conference games since Smith took over. They stand a very good chance of getting swept in conference this year. Anyone that truely believes Odom is sitting on a hotter seat is clueless.

On the other hand we have an elite WR choosing between mizzou and tOSU..

PS. crystal balls keeping changing and favoring mizzou for Washington

There is an 11 Warriors post stating that the recently departed WR coach was the only OSU staff member wanting Washington and that Hartline is focused on other players.

It looks like their ceiling is 7 wins. At best. That would mean the 3 noncons, one of which is 10-2 last year, USF. Then they have to win against rutgers, maryland, minnesota and nebraska.
Prediction-Not gonna happen.
lovie is fired on sunday November 25th almost a month for the recruits to scurry
elsewhere. I doubt patterson keeps his job with the new coach who they will name after he wins his bowl game.

seen the same.

Also regarding Massey, Ive heard that hes not the happiest camper with us. He feels the coaching staff has focused way more on washington. Id like to think that is false, but at the same time, hes seems like a prima donna during this recruiting process

Personally I think that Massey might be just as good as Washington.

If you look on Washington's twitter page he posted at the top of it OSU recruiting media bashing him running a 4.79
That in itself might run him Mizzou's way. I think Massey might be in the Illini's pocket. Hope that I'm wrong on that one.

C J Boone is another one I would like to see Mizzou get. Don't hear many people talk about him. He's probably the fastest wr of the 3.(Washington, Massey and Boone)

No way they make a bowl game. I doubt they even win a conference game. I see them 3-9/4-8. They are going to be terrible once again.

Boone is J'Mon jr.

I don't see him committing anytime soon but we have a good shot.

He's another guy that really likes the recruiting process

Any other targets considering OSU may be coming available. Urban Meyer is a shitbag.

It may not matter. tOSU will win 11 or 12 games, make the playoff and they will sweep it under the rug.

There isn't anything legal Meyer has to worry about but his acquiescent behavior may turn off some parents.

His behavior didn't turn off parents at Florida and hasn't so far at OSU. Parents see them as contenders for a NC every year and a great chance for their kids to get to the league. Plus they are on National TV every week.

When did he have a staff member get accused of spousal abuse at Florida?

Jameson Williams and Marcus Washington both recruited by Zach Smith of Ohio State.

Smith fired and Meyer put on admin leave should help Mizzou with both recruits.

In 2018 both Babb and Cameron Brown were recruited by Smith. This should hurt OSU in the St. Louis area.
