We can't afford to lose any projected talent an especially out of the state of Missouri. The only player out of the Missouri 10 that we got is Daniel Parker and I heard that he is now a little shaky. Cam Jones is a big loss in my opinion because he was exactly what we needed in the secondary, because of his athletic ability and physicality. He was underrated because they rated him as a qb.

Chad Bailey is also shaky amongst a few more commits.

A very old recruiting saying, which is undeniably true.

"It doesn't matter who you miss, it matters who you get"

Recruiting will be fine. 1 of 2 things will take place over the next month. Either BO wins 3-4 games. Solidifies himself as a coach. Shaky recruits will come back, and Mizzou will add another 13-14 recruits. Or he doesn’t win 3-4 games and is fired. Then th new coach can go out and finish this class.

Do you think that Mizzou will get Thompson, now? They are going to have hell holding on to Daniel Parker.

I don't know. We seemed to be in very good position earlier. Don't know if that's changed.

Team needs to finish strong.

Yada yada yada, you said we were solid w/ Trout even more so with Cross out of the picture. All the while saying Trout could be counted on and a player you really wanted. Now you say "oh we didn't need him, we are good at DT" You simply are all over the place going in which ever way the BOback Mountain air blows that best fits into your Save BO lower expectations campaign.

All the recruits are shaky. Thats what happens with a coach on the hot seat. We didn’t go through this when pinkel announced because there was a clear line of succession. We win out and a few might come back. If we lose 2 or more, we’ll lose most of the rest.

Corollary: If you miss on everyone, your class blows arse.

At this point in time you should probably just stop, but then again, this is pretty entertaining.

I'm less concerned about Trout then I am Perkins.

DT just isn't a position of great need.

Holy crap dude. I'm not sure if you realize how that comes off. Maybe taking it to the next level will make it clearer.

I'm less concerned about not signing Babe Ruth than I am Ricky Henderson because a home run hitter isn't a position of great need. Oh, and by the way, we didn't sign Ricky Henderson either. But all is good because it doesn't matter that we didn't sign Babe Ruth or Ricky Henderson. What matters is that we signed Tom Brunansky and Bob Heise.

Props to you TigerCruise. You were consistent in your concern about the secondary before the season started. Others voiced concern too but you were pretty damn consistent about it.

I don't know. We'll see if we got any good ones in a couple of years. I would assume we get at least a handful. Hopefully we get a lot of them

I don't understand why this is so hard for you guys to understand.

We are still months from signing day anyway.

So we are going to flip a bunch of these guys. Is that what you're saying?

Any DT Mizzou signs in this class is likely to redshirt, especially if TBJ returns for his senior season.

TBJ would be foolish to return for his senior year. His stock might have fallen a bit, but most scouts realize he is better than what BO is doing with him. He would also be foolish because he is prone to injury.

The statement is sooooo true. But might not exactly mean what you think it does.

Well, if you are capable of reading words then dissecting their place in a sentence, and from that correctly deciphering its meaning...

It should come of as...

Perkins is the bigger loss.

DT is not a position of great need.

Trying to ge this back on track here...

It looks like Ballard has reaffirmed his commitment. I think he has a pretty good shot of starting next year.

Not many options on the outside. Brown, Smith, Ballard or Davis. Maybe 1 if the other WR recruits.

3 of those will get snaps as an outside receiver.

All I heard was not having Babe Ruth on your team is not a bad thing.

Quite possibly. Not much returning outside. Should certainly be in the 2 deep and see plenty of reps.
