Saw Epenesa kid from IL committed to Iowa. Please someone explain to me what possible positive attraction these second-tier Big 10 teams from the Arctic have for so many St. Louis-area kids. I just don't understand why someone would want to go play in the middle of a pasture or cornfield in 5-degree weather, and that's September.

He's an Iowa legacy, grew up in a huge Iowa family as a fan, plus they just had a great year where they were in the top 5 at one point. Makes sense if you think about it like that.

I can speak for Adrian Clayborn, Adrian loved the coaching staff and unfortunately would have gone to mizzou if it wasnt for the Aaron O'neal issue. Mizzou and Iowa were his final 2. Plus he won the Orange bowl with Iowa.

Iowa is a top 25 program and a great school. I used to hoop against Claiborne. Too bad we couldn't snag him.

Top 5 for 3* DL out of Georgia, Micheal Boykin. He's a current Louisville commit, but I'm assuming he's not that committed if he's releasing a top 5.

We offered the NJCAA Offensive Player of the Year in 3* RB Justin Crawford. Has offers from Georgia, South Carolina, ATM among others, said he's setting up an OV on twitter. Had Bama, UGA, UTk offers out of HS.

If he chooses Texas Tech, then I hope he enjoys giving up 50 points every game. I can't even remember the last defensive player from there even playing in the NFL.

I think he sticks with Mizzou, he even said he was still solid to us in the article. He mentions maybe visiting Texas, I'd say they're the bigger threat if they do try and bring him in. But he really likes Mizzou/Odom/Walters.
