Somewhat agree. Just seems like this year Mizzou maybe has a legitimate shot to get some higher end talent.
Also have the luxury of this being a smaller class so can be a bit more picky in who they offer.

I definitely agree. I just think we've offered the same type of kids this early in the past. I do think we have a better chance of landing more of them this year. It also means more patience because these guys probably won't start committing until after the season. Some maybe over the summer but most even later.

This will be hard because we all freak out as we see other teams landing commits and us not getting any. However, as long as we win this season I could see us catching some big fish.

So Tre Bryant from CBC, the kid I'm so high on, yet Mizzou is slow-playing him and some sites only have him as a 2 Star.

I've been trying to bring his name up in this forum as well. This kid is the real deal, getting the second highest sparq rating in the COUNTRY is not a small matter..

We aren't slow playing him. What makes you think that? He was one of our first offers and he's visited several times.

Yeah I wouldn't say we are slow playing him either STL_MIZ. Via Brian austin Tre Bryant has visited missouri at least 3 times already, maybe more. I just think it shouldn't be this hard to land an instate kid with the amount of success Miz has had in the SEC... THE SEC!!

I hope this crap with Illinois doesn't rub any stank off on us with Ricker having been there under Beckman. Interested to hear anything Ricker might end up saying about it. Hope he says something sooner rather than later.

Oh...well that makes sense. I said we were slow-playing him cause I thought we hadn't even offered him yet
my bad, but still I agree with you JLu12, I'd say we are his top offer he has, while he'll definitely get more, I'm surprised he isn't as high on us as he is. I thought I heard that he said K-State was in the lead for him right now. Shame, we need to lock him up before his Senior year because I have a feeling teams will really jump on him then.

I have no clue, but I suspect we are very much in the lead for Bryant. If I were 17 I would wait and see whom else offers as well. I'm hoping he's ours to lose though.

Tre Bryant just got invited to The Opening tonight. This kid is really about to blow up, only the best of the best get invited to The Opening... I suspect Mizzou to pull out all of the stops now. This kid is the definition of underrated, that's why I like him so much. Rivals has him as a 2star but he keeps making a name for himself. He is the PERFECT fit for Mizzou! LINK

Saw that earlier today. I have a feeling he's gonna end up a 4 star before it's said and done. At least by some services. Which is crazy from a 2 star. One thing to go NR to 4 star because that means they just didn't look at ya. The 2 star tells me the service looked and couldn't be more wrong. Happy for the kid that he's blowing up despite what the services thought of him. Just hope he ends up in black and gold.

The only reason that he's a 2* is because their team is loaded and the stats on their offense is spreaded around. He'll be a 4* before it's all said and done.

Yeah I noticed that, same with AJ. Taylor. Those two would only get like 10-12 carries a game but score like 2-3 times and have 100+ yards. That's how you know they are on a good team. I missed the state championship game between the two programs though(RockhurstvsCBC).

Right about that. I also think he was injured his sophomore year so he didn't have the early numbers to rely on. I think CBC even used like 3 RB's this past year.

I watched that game. It really was one of the better high school football games I've seen in quite some time. Both teams really battled, back and forth.
