Nice to see TBJ enjoying the visit ,but let's be honest, he just ripped a good one and Cornell Ford back there just caught a whiff.

I don't want to count my chickens before the eggs hatch, but that looks like a smile of contentment. Like I just found home. And that looks like what I presume to be a very proud mom looking on approvingly over her son's choice.

@reedus23.....I see on PM that the unofficial count for scholarships is 69 plus our 22 commits. that's 91 minus one which is strong going juco. minus owens and cuellar which are apart of the last yr class...down to 88. then I seen kentrell brothers post on instagram of all the people who graduated already or will before the 15 season.
already graduated who had scholarships
corbin berkstresser
Cortland browning
taylor chappell
mithch l. hall
tyler hunt
Wesley leftwich
who graduates in may
Clarence green
conner McGovern
brad mcnulty
who graduates in august
david Johnson
that is 10 total players that are candidates that will not be back for the 15 season.
I believe all are gone except mcnulty and McGovern and outside chance hunt stays.....which would give 88-8or7....given us 80 or 81 scholarships. then we are still waiting on TBJr and hopefully josh coleman as well giving us 81 to 83 ship players. if so that still leaves us with possibly 2/3 still available.
@reedus23 I know this is a long post and hope you can follow my writing but does this seem right or am I fishing in the wrong end of the pond, lol

I doubt Leftwich, Browning, or the O-linemen transfer.
They all either got starts this past year or will be in position to win a starting spot this spring. Spring ball will be interesting, because if any of these guys get passed over then they probably leave.
Could be some freshman that RS leave seeing that they are 2-3 years away from playing. Could go to juco and play right away.

I could easily see Berk and Hunt finish their eligibilty at MO St for Coach Stec.
And I have to say, they are truesons and great kids that I'd like them to stay. But the numbers, and the opportunities, it kind of makes sense.

Just watched Robinsons film. No idea how he could be a 2* but whatever.
It sucks we didn't flip him on his visit. He could really be something here. He does remind you of Brantley.

@wubilli if leftwich and browning have only had a handful of starts which only came due to injury/suspension as a rs senior and I have a rs freshman wr/s and they are at the same ability, as my coach told me you always go with the young guy because he still has time to develop more. I expect ross/Wilson to take the safety spot and brown to start over leftwich. I don't see any rs freshmen leaving except for misconduct not playing time.

Remember, Hunt was a Walkon that was awarded a scholarship. Those are one year deals.
We'll have some guys transfer, and some guys not qualify. It will work out.

You could be right, they may transfer. But you listed a bunch of players that will go into spring ball as starters.
If they get beat out then I could see them transferring.
GP likes to play guys that don't make mistakes, which is why Matt White was a multi year starter. I actually think Sherrills has a real good chance to start at Saftey this coming season. He was a special teams star this season. That seems to be the normal progression for defensive players.

First, I am wrong more than I am right, but here is the first thing that I think is inaccurate. Cuellar and Owens already being enrolled doesn't not reduce the total cap number. I think they only impact the cap on yearly caps, not the total cap. I will take another look at the numbers and post in a minute after the caffeine kicks in.

I prefer Coleman over Robinson myself. But he just committed to Iowa State on the 28th so it would be hard to flip him.

Here's a player that I was surprised that Mizzou didn't offer from our own state of Missouri and a kid that has some SEC size and 4.4 speed. I would have probably offered him over Ryan Williams. Check out his videos and skill set. Dude is going to Miss. St.

Murphy was originally from Mississippi, he moved here in HS. Mississippi was home for him, and we got Williams, Abbington, and Strong early, hence the no offer.
