@wubilli if leftwich and browning have only had a handful of starts which only came due to injury/suspension as a rs senior and I have a rs freshman wr/s and they are at the same ability, as my coach told me you always go with the young guy because he still has time to develop more. I expect ross/Wilson to take the safety spot and brown to start over leftwich. I don't see any rs freshmen leaving except for misconduct not playing time.
@reedus23.....I see on PM that the unofficial count for scholarships is 69 plus our 22 commits. that's 91 minus one which is strong going juco. minus owens and cuellar which are apart of the last yr class...down to 88. then I seen kentrell brothers post on instagram of all the people who graduated already or will before the 15 season.

already graduated who had scholarships
corbin berkstresser
Cortland browning
taylor chappell
mithch l. hall
tyler hunt
Wesley leftwich

who graduates in may
Clarence green
conner McGovern
brad mcnulty

who graduates in august
david Johnson

that is 10 total players that are candidates that will not be back for the 15 season.

I believe all are gone except mcnulty and McGovern and outside chance hunt stays.....which would give 88-8or7....given us 80 or 81 scholarships. then we are still waiting on TBJr and hopefully josh coleman as well giving us 81 to 83 ship players. if so that still leaves us with possibly 2/3 still available.

@reedus23 I know this is a long post and hope you can follow my writing but does this seem right or am I fishing in the wrong end of the pond, lol

rb Abbington home run imo

Im a youth football/basketball coach in the stl area......& guess who joined my kindergarden Basketball team.......chase lil brother (Stephen Abbington).....I also was told some info about chase that I was shocked to hear. Im not going to say what it was because im not 100% sure the source is reliable with their info.......but if the info is right I must tell you dont get your hopes up.

his is another young man I have worked out & know very well......I believe he should get a look from Mizzou. I took my lil brother, nephew, & him to the Mizzou full contact camp over the summer and he dominated.... found out today he max bench pressed 335, he has a 3.8 gpa, & was a all state LB

I coached youth football vs tre Bryant his 8th grade yr......wow.....he almost single handedly beat our team.....5 tds......4rushing & 1 strip fumble on my qb & recovered it & returned for a 95 yrd td.........I said to myself he will be the #1 player in the state hands down.......only thing that hurt him was being hurt his whole sophomore season. Nice young man as well as he did some workouts with me and some of my boyz.

@reedus so we had all of injuries in training camp? I dont believe so.....everyone started getting hurt in the GA game which I was there. Because I know for sure E Boehm started all 12 games and was if I remember correctly was an all American freshman. Point is he came in day one ready & played day one at LG. I believe the best players play no matter if you are a true freshman or not. Dgb didn't start b/c he couldn't learn the play book. FSU LT Johnson didn't start day one at fsu, the original LT moved to center because of an injury which opened the door for johnson. Our linemen that mizzou usually get are barely 275/290 lbs. Can't start day one that little. Sorry for the long post
I believe boehm started as a true freshman......plus the reason GP doesn't start true freshman Olinemen is because the the kids we are getn are not day one ready out of the gate.......GP is doing fine

I say ross will replace webbs snaps imo....he will be a hammer back there.......really think someone else can push simon for his snaps as well, he had some inconsistent play. So he could start but have a younger player get some reps for the experience for the future.
Not too come off wrong but have you seen all of tthese fr wrs practice day in day out for you to say they don't move you. Now if you have I understand your your point of view. I haven't seen them practice day in day out but from what I seen from there high school sr HLs I believe we will have something to work with. The only wr that concerns me is jvon Moore b/c he barely seen the field as a rs fr. The wr I liked most frm high school HLs was Richard and remember he was out producing just about every wr in the scrimmages coming into the season. I wish we can add two more wrs in this class justin Smith & Brandon Martin. Jmo
Im sorry jagd......Oregon hasnt consistently recruited in the top 20 for the last five years.....ONLY two recruiting classes inside of top since 2010....#14 & #16........every other class in mid/last 20s.......Mizzou is knocking on the door as dis Oregon since 2010 & now they have knocked it down. I believe Mizzou will be there with lock at qb in the years to come. Ijs
@reedus23 I appreciate the access and look forward to communicating with my fellow ZOUfans
