Reedus, you know I respect you but I hope you're dead wrong. We just can't bring in these big athletic receivers, and not have the best talent throwing them the ball. Everyone that sees Lock is blown away, we can't waste that.

It's not a matter of me agreeing with him, I just don't think he'll ever sit a previous years starter. Just not in GP's makeup.

Lock still has to prove he can do it at this level, but based on what I've seen this year, I hope I'm wrong too. I don't question Mauk's heart. Not the way he trucked that DB on the TD run. But I do question his ability and decision making.

I'm hoping Lock's talent is so evident to the team that it forces Pinkel to change his philosophy. By the way, was it just me or did it look like MM looked thinner than before.

I thought he looked sick frankly. Maybe it was a sunburn, but his face looked flushed or whatever, like my kid's do when they're sick.

If nothing else let's hope Pinkel returns to giving his #1 back-up a series a half (or even a game).

I think we were all wondering if MM has to go out, "whose it going to be, Berks or Printz". If Lock winds up having some combo of CD's mental makeup and Gabberts arm-velocity then I can see no way there isn't a QB Controversy in Mizzou's future, regardless of what Pinkel wants.

I agree. The only time I've seen him do that was his first season with Brad Smith. He may have a qb competition in the spring, but the job is Mauk's to lose. And I think Mauk was sick yesterday - throwing up on the sideline, pale and flushed. Looked terrible.

I'm liking this sign from Beckner... Hope we land him and keep him away from those bastages in Ohio.

That would be a first. Didn't even know Beckner was on twitter and he's always been so quiet. I hope that really is him and hope it's a good sign.

I think the point was about the struggle to recruit Columbia. Doesn't really matter the sport. Could just be kids wanting to get away and experience something new. Would be good if MIZZOU could start successfully recruiting columbia.

This is what I meant

Good catch mizslu. It does look like Beckner recently signed up for twitter. Coach Kul, Odom, Boehm and a few others already follow him.

Encouraging that one of his first tweets is MIZ.

Basically every tweet he's made has been Mizzou related.

I wouldn't hold my breath. GP has replaced a starter at QB one time, and it wasn't a guy who was 14-4.

Mauk will get better. Lock will redshirt, see some time his second year and be ready to take over as a RS SO. Much the same path as Mauk took.

Brian Austin tweeted that it is NOT TBJ running the account.

Thanks for that. Thought it was a little out of character but figured guys like Boehm, Odom, Kul, Scherer and other players would have known.

not a struggle worth much worry, so far COMO hasn't produced much of any talent worth mentioning. Remember the 2 kids that went to UGA? Yea nobody else does either, they aren't in the NFL. Como and esp. Rock Bridge kids seem to have an over inflated self opinion, the kid that went to OU has done ok, but when one of them breaks out and has a great career it will be the first time.

Such a cool experience getting to meet RG3. He is one great guy as well, not just a quarterback!

First thing I noticed...damn, did not know RG3 was THAT short.
