Im not saying all this will happen. Just my opinion on what NEEDS to happen for things to pick up recruiting wise. If healthy I believe they have talent to be much better than last year offensively. I call it reserved optimism. Looking forward to hearing reports from practice the next few weeks.
I hear ya. It's not out of the realm of possibility either. I just think this entire last year has been so fricking tough that I've just taken on a wait and see attitude.

That was my exact thought. May be a very good player in his own right but hopefully it gives us an in with the more sought after kids from the Illinois side of the river.

Does anyone know who the PG recruit that was suppose to visit this weekend?
Also I wonder if we are in the running for the transfer from Memphis, Tulane or anywhere else. The roster for next year is pretty thin if we cant find any additions in the late signing period soon.

I thought someone said the Memphis kid was supposed to visit, maybe even this weekend. Hope I don't have him confused with someone else. Been working on a deck all weekend and my brain just doesn't want to work but weren't we in on a transfer guard too? Maybe from Seton Hall? If that's right, I don't know if he could play next year or not.

Imagine the fear him and DGB would instill in the opposing DBs just by being on the field at the same time...
Would also really help our recruiting just from a reputation standpoint

Thank you ZouDerrty I appreciate that. We need another guard in this class, wonder if he is worth taking. And ya Reedus you are thinking of Cosby the Seton Hall kid and unfortunately he enjoyed his Illinois visit so much Friday that he committed their and never made his MU trip. That would be huge if we were in on that Taric Black transfer from Memphis although I haven't heard anything yet.

we really need separate basketball/football threads. This is hard to sift through.

Mizzou picked up a commitment from Florida DE Rocel McWilliams. Cant find anything on him except he is around 6'3 240. Several new offers today as well.
