Every thing I have read on Travis Johnson is all about south Florida but not saying he doesn't have anything going on with mizzou

Agreed mogray, I cannot stress enough how big it would be to get into Florida and Georgia recruiting wise...even if we just have to take the scraps for a few years.

Calloway just commited to Louisville, but he is still taking visits.

Ben Bradley and his buddy are going to go to Auburn. Ship it.
Not sure why Calloway committed while still taking visits, maybe we still get him.
At this point Augusta would be a fool to not take the opportunity he'll have at Mizzou.

Where did you hear about the juco DTs to Auburn? Is the bagman at it again?
And yes, I fear for our defense next season. This year was bad, next year could be worse. We really, really need some help, and some guys to step up.

The UGA guy that grew a relationship with Johnson is now at Auburn. Looks like UGA will not offer Bradley, but Auburn is brining them both in for a visit and will have a spot for them both.
And I thought the defense was actually pretty good last year. Got totally overworked and exposed by an offense that couldn't stay on the field, and never adjusted to slow things down when they clearly had no chance of staying on the field for more than a series or two.

the defense was decent in the beginning because of Sheldon. But if you want a preview of next year, go re-watch the Syracuse game.

Oh, yeah, I heard Auburn hired the guy from UGA. He's an Auburn grad, I think, or coached there before - something. He had a connection to Auburn, and to Pay Dye from what I understand.
And yes, Sheldon kept it together, and generally solid play from the linebackers. But, Sheldon and 3 senior linebackers (I think) will be gone. Next year could be ugly without a game changer.

The defense has been terrible vs teams who have heard of the forward pass since Pinkel got here. The defense will be capable of dominating bad teams next year but anyone who can throw will do just fine vs MU's D. It is pathetic.

Any more word on Bradley and company? Or is his Auburn visit this weekend?
